- Medina of Tetouan - During our exploration, we’ll encounter the Spanish quarter, renowned for its exquisite Spanish Andalusi design. Our journey will include a visit to Feddan Square, followed by the Jewish quarter, mellah, where we’ll pause for 15 minutes to savor the scrumptious white cow cheese, dried fruits, and sip on warm mint tea opposite the royal palace. Subsequently, we’ll proceed to the ancient Medina, encircled by fortification walls erected in the early 16th century, featuring seven entryways. Our itinerary will then lead us to souk elhout, where rural women vend their handmade wares, offering you the opportunity to experience life as a countryside woman (refer to the photos I’ve taken with other tourists for a glimpse). Additionally, we’ll view the exterior of the qasabah, originally constructed in 1286 and later reconstructed by sidi mindri in the 15th century. Lastly, we’ll pay a visit to the tannery house, which boasts a splendid panorama.

Hello! I’m Abir, aged 29. Since the tender age of 12, I’ve dreamed of being a licensed tour guide, proudly showcasing my city, Tetouan. This aspiration stemmed not just from a deep-rooted love for my city but also the exciting prospect of meeting and hosting individuals from various cultures across the globe. Post my graduation in English Literature, I pursued my dream and became a certified tour guide, currently the only active woman in the field in Tetouan.
Booking a tour with me guarantees an experience you’ll cherish. Apart from taking you around the city’s prime spots, I would love to offer you a taste of the local Tetouanis lifestyle. With me, a tour isn’t just a sightseeing venture. It’s a complete experience interspersed with historical facts, cultural insights, humorous anecdotes, societal observations, and even a lesson in the basics of the Darija dialect.
