- Battlefield of Thermopylae - Our trip will start from Athens and then we will drive to Thermopylae, where we will visit Thermopylae’s Innovative Centre of Historical Information and we will see the Statue of Leonidas.
- Holy Monastery of Rousanos - Saint Barbara - Afterwards we will drive to the breathtaking Meteora, where we will visit a lot of monasteries, built on top of 1000 foot rocks, such as the Holy Monastery of Varlaam, Rousanou and the Holy Trinity.
Then we will take a break for a coffee at Kalabaka. Driving through the beautiful stone villages of Arachova where we’ll be able to stop so that you can take photos and buy souvenirs.
- Delphi - After a wonderful scenic drive through mountains and fertile valleys we reach Delphi, located under the 3000ft tall mountain Parnassos. There we will visit the Archaeological museum of Delphi, we will see the Archaeological site of Delphi and the site of the temple of Apollo.
- Arachova - In that stop we will see an amazing luxurius village that was built on the edge of the mountain,amazing view,god time for relaxing and take a coffe or souvenirs.
- Distomo Massacre Memorial - Distomo a dramatic village in 1944 350 people lost their lifes,it was a Nazi war crime perpetrated by members of the Waffen-SS in the village of Distomo, Greece, in 1944, during the German occupation of Greece during World War II.
- Bournazi Square - In this extra local area…!!! In the end of the tour all the travellers will enjoy in a very beutifull greek TAVERNA greek food as grill meat,fish,salads,deserts,wine,beer,soft dinks.

We commence our journey from Athens.
During this exciting all-day expedition, we will take in some of the most stunning sites and landscapes. En route, I will fill you in with lots of details regarding history, mythology, and culture.
We will revel in a trip to Delphi, the novel of the world, and explore the sacred spots in Meteora. Additionally, we will swing by Thermopylae, where the famed 300 Spartans battled, and the awe-inspiring Arachova.
I offer flexibility in the itinerary, duration, and activities to suit your preferences. Feel free to share any special requests you may have.
- 2 Mercedes E200 Sedan for 5-7 passengers (4 passengers in each vehicle)
- We can pick our customers up from wherever they want inside the region of Athens.
- If the pick up is from the Airport or from the cruise dock please provide all the details to the operator after from the pickup.
- If there is a Strike in The city Center or a special event that effects the tour,the tour may change start time or ITINERARY under the instructions of the operator and the agreement of the customer
- Please provide as much as possible contact details to the operator even after the booking
- If the booking will start from Ath Int Airport the time of the tour start to count fro the pickup of the customer,so do not stress your self in cases of Delay of flights.
- If the tour is combined with a transfer the Maximum Luggage ( american size 32kl) can be no more than 3 and the start time of the tour starts at the time of the first pickup eg :( There is a customer that buys a tour starting from Cruise terminal but first he/she wants to be transferred to his Hotel to do the check in and then to start the tour. ) if the customer wants extra services than the ones that paid for,the operator will charge him extra and the payment will be done to the driver in cash or credit card.

Safe and comfortable with Dimos - Our guide, Dimos, took us to all of the most important places. I learned so much about history and Greece. Dimos called me “ princess Aphrodite” and made me feel so special. I felt safe and comfortable because of Dimos! These are memories we will never forget. We still talk about Dimos even days later! Breathtaking Views - This tour was the last tour that we had in mainland Greece, and we’re glad we saved the best for last. The first stops are the monasteries in Meteora, which was filled with breathtaking views that felt like scenes from movies. The museum and the ruins in Corinth were filled with information and historical background, such as the stone tablet that was the first known existence of music. Our tour guide, Sebastian, spent the drives to each destination giving us the history of each place we visited, as he is passionate about history. He is also a skilled driver, getting us to our destinations early, asking if we want to stop to take pictures, and is also flexible with the itinerary.

A great driver - The trip was exellent. We really enjoyed it and everything was beautifull. Who really stood out was our driver George. He was frendly, drove very well and knew a lot about every destination. He even bought us a coffe. I really recomend this trip. Even though its expensive it is definitely worth it.

Beautiful Road Trip - Can’t recommend this trip enough. Picked up at our hotel by GeorgeI. He was a fantastic driver, knowledgeable and very friendly.
The trip across the countryside was gorgeous and at the furthest point were the monasteries which were amazing. Then back to the Apollo/Athena museum and ruins, on back to Athens and a fabulous meal with numerous dishes to sample. Way too much food.

Best Road Trip Wver - This was a long trip with a fantastic driver. George was the best. The countryside of Greece is worth it for the drive alone, but the monastery tour was amazing. Then to Delfoi for viewing of Apollo and Athena. We also stopped where the Spartans fought the Persians centuries ago. Amazing experience. Highly recommend. Oh, and dinner at the end with a great variety of Greek food. Ask for George Ilios for your driver.

10/10 - Excellent day with our driver, John. John picked us up at 6am and returned us about 930pm. We had a full day of beautiful sites and history. John was very kind and it was easy to have conversation throughout the day. Highly recommend this tour and John as the driver.

Once in a lifetime experience! - My husband and I had the best tour with George!! It was the highlight of our 10 day trip that included time in Santorini, Paros and Athens. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for the most enjoyable and efficient way to see this area of Greece. If you're trying to decide if it's worth adding to your itinerary - do not hesitate to book!! We loved every minute and the time flew by. It's a very crowded area and this is absolutely the best way to experience the wonder and beauty without wearing yourself out... George dropped us off at the entrance of every stop and came back to pick us up when we were ready. I cannot imagine the time and effort it would have taken for us to find parking and walk to/from the car (or tour bus!) among all the locations we visited. I'm so grateful to have had this time to see things I didn't know existed before planning this vacation.

A fabulous day with an extraordinary guide - We were so excited to find a tour that included Meteora, Thermopoli and Delphi in a single day from Athens. Our guide and driver Dallas was exceptional in his knowledge, passion and flexibility. He adjusted to our needs and made it a memorable experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner at a great local tea restaurant we ended with back in Athens.

Spectacular tour - This was an amazing day to Meteora and Delphi. Our guide Dimos was awesome. Although it was a long day (almost 15 hours), the day went by effortlessly. Dimos shared many stories and provided historical context throughout the trip. He was very considerate, kind and friendly and it was like talking to a longtime friend. The Meteora Monasteries are magnificent. We stopped at 2 different monasteries for visits and picture taking and Dimos timed the stops to avoid the crowds. At the end of the day, we had dinner in a traditional great neighborhood restaurant with so much food. I highly recommend this tour and our guide Dimos.

An amazing Dat trip to Meteora and Delphi - This was an amazing day to Meteora and Delphi. Steph was our guide and driver and he was so kind and friendly. Really enjoyed talking with him. He has such interesting knowledge to share. And he's just a really great guy. This is a very long day but really it didnt seem so. The ride was pleasant and comfortable and of course the Meteora Monasteries are nothing short of spectacular. Steph got us to 3 different monasteries for visits and picture taking. Then on to Delphi where we visited the archeological site and museum. We weren't rushed at all. During the day we found time for a stop for an authentic Greek gyro, and a quick visit to a souvenir shop. At the end of the day we had dinner in an amazing traditional great neighborhood restaurant with lovely Greek families all around us. The owner came over several times to welcome us. I would do this same tour again. Highly recommend this tour and our drive and guide Steph.
