Highlight of our trip! - This was such a fun day! White water rafting was a blast, and our guide was incredibly fun and professional. I felt safe at every point and truly had a great time. It felt like the perfect length and then we got to warm up in the sauna and relax with a great lunch! Hoping to do the 3-day excursion next time!!

10/10 would recommend - We were nervous about this at first, but after meeting Anderson and getting shown the basics we knew it was going to be fun. It was one of the best experiences we had in Peru.

Even if you’re scared, just do it! - I’m so glad I had this experience. I’ve never done it before and I was traveling off peak so I happened to be the only one to book for the day. They still accommodated me and even though I was super nervous about the lack of people, I was reassured it would be okay and we took to the river and it felt amazing. The scenery alone was worth every minute. I never felt unsafe even as a complete novice. I opted to not zipline and spent time in the sauna and ate a delicious quinoa and pumpkin soup and chicken and potato dish that was probably easily some of the tastier food I’ve had during my trip. It should be noted that video is not included but the price isn’t unreasonable if you want to save the experience. Thanks Anderson and team for such a memorable experience.

Exceeded all expectations! - We had an incredible family adventure with this white water rafting and zip lining experience in Peru. Our safety was a top priority, and the guide ensured a smooth pick-up from our Airbnb. The 1 hour 45 minute drive to the river lodge was scenic, and the lodge itself nestled in a beautiful setting. The rafting, said to be class 3+, provided an exhilarating experience, and the absence of other tourists made it feel exclusive. The scenery during the ride itself was amazing. We were also provided GoPro photos at the end for an extra charge. It definitely got very cold but there was a sauna at the end which was perfect. We finished up with a delicious lunch featuring quinoa and chicken soup, along with chicken, rice, and sweet potatoes. A memorable and well-rounded adventure that deserves five stars!

A great family adventure - This was one a great trip. The guides were excellent and our family had a great time. The zip lining was pretty basic, but safe and enjoyable. The rafting was better than I anticipated with some fun and fierce rapids. Lunch afterwards was great too. Thanks!

Great experience and value but not a must-do in Cusco - Hotel pick up at 8:30am very convenient. 2 hour drive or so to get to lodge, one stop for bathroom/snacks if needed. Equipment provided was weathered and a few tears but adequate. Safety demonstration before hitting river. Water was freezing but stayed warm enough in wetsuit provided, was definitely cold by the end. Anderson was our rafting guide and he was amazing, made the trip fun. Gave us a ton of info about the river, rafting, and other trips he does. Super cool guy. Rapids were about a class 2-3+ on the day we went but they differ depending on time of year/rain. When we got back I warmed up in the sauna then tried to take a shower. No hot water (which I guess isn't in the description but I assumed it would be hot.) Ended up not getting in since I was just in cold water for 2 hours... Had a warm delicious lunch of coffee, soup, and chicken & rice. After was given zipline equipment and a quick basic rundown/safety info. There are only two zips - one across the river and then one back. The ladder to get up to the first one is a little sketchy but not horrible. The posting doesn't specify how many zips are included so suppose it's my fault but I thought there would be more. We were a bit rushed because it looked like it was going to rain. Overall I would recommend if you for sure want to go rafting. But if you have been rafting and/or ziplining before and have a limited amount of time in Cusco, I would say skip it and do something like Rainbow Mountain that you can't see anywhere else.

Don't take this tour! - I've been on better day river rafting excursions. The guide, David, appeared somewhat knowledgable on safety procedures with rafting. But when he invited the paid guests to jump in the river for a swim, everything changed in the experience. The particular area of the river where he let us swim was very fast-moving and about 5 feet deep. After 2 minutes of swimming, trying to keep up with river current, I lost control, and suddenly was not able to swim. I give the guides some credit for trying to attempt to rescue me, but they were slow to approach me where I was , and due to heaviness weight of the required wear of wetsuit and helmut they provided, I was immobilized, had no ability to see my surroundings. I panicked, and almost passed out, floating on the river surface and/or almost drowned. The guides appeared to be insufficiently trained to help in this. After the near-death experience I had, our group was then invited to a lodge prepared meal that looked like slop (boiled chicken drowned in distasteful sauce), and piled up rice with no flavor. The guide originally offered passion fruit juice earlier in the tour, but during meal, explained that was not available. Also my partner couldn't eat their plated food after discovering human eye lashes on their food plate. We also were invited to experience zip lining activity as part of the tour. So disappointed with this part, because there were only 2 lines installed for the course, and to even begin the activity, you have to climb a rickety old metal ladder as part of a tower to reach the top platform, and you have to manage your own belaying equipment to even get to the top, and little supervision was provided for this. It all looked very sketchy and full of deathly risks. Overall, this tour was way overpriced considering the low quality of service and guidance provided. Would not recommend this particular tour to anyone else. They also charge for towel rental, that mine was stained from previous guests. Also, they try to promote providing photo snd video of you in the experience, but leave the actual camera use to raft riders, and then gouge you with extra cost for receiving the recorded material, which you pay in advance before being allowed to view previews so you can check quality of what you pay for.
