Highlights
  • Palace of Culture and Science - The most recognisable building in Warsaw, beautiful example of socialist realist architecture, currently home to theatres, museums, a cinema, trendy pubs and more.
  • Hotel MDM - Austere Soviet-era architecture.
  • Krucza - See the Communist Ministerial District
  • Monument of the Free Word - Comrades! Hear the story about censorship in the communist Poland.
  • Statue of Charles de Gaulle - Are You looking for a former Communist Party Headquarters? You are in a right place.
  • PGE National Stadium - Discover what was here before the new and modern National Stadium was built.
  • Bazar Rozyckiego - Once regarded as Warsaw’s premier bazaar, the rambling Różycki Bazaar has seen its popularity wane since 1989. Black market trade once thrived under Nazi and communist governments, but nowadays the historic market is a ghostly image of its former self.

Hidden History of Warsaw - Conrad was a wonderful guide. Just as advertised. Things you'd normally pass by or not even notice are highlighted and interesting. Don't want to spoil anything. If you're in town, whether you have experience with Warsaw like my buddy or a complete newbie like me, you'll have a good time. :)

Absolutely Loved the Drive and Tour! - Hannah was an outstanding tour guide. Loved driving the Polish Fiat around the city and learning about the history of Warsaw. We even had a few stops and walked around, Hannah was flexible enough to accommodate locations we wanted to visit that were not planned (like the park). Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

A unique way to discover Warsaw - The tour was amazing and definitely one to recommend! The tour guide was very friendly and informative. Even though I was brought up in Warsaw I was still shown things I haven't seen before! It is also super fun to drive the old fiat 126p and to do it as a tour makes it even better.
