- 101 Ardmore Street - Along this E-Bike tour you will get an insight into the Māori footprint and history from many hundreds of years ago of the beautiful Otago region along with combining the wonderful present being the beautiful wines of this region. Starting with the Māori greeting the Hongi and the importance in establishing the connection with New Zealand and the land (Hongi may be explained only), then with a 20 minute cycle to Rippon Vineyard where the views over the lakes and mountains match the views of the vines. In tasting will be approximately 4-6 wines both white and Pinot Noir, these may include Osteiner, Riesling and more.
Then from Rippon Vineyard we will bike to Maude Wines which willl include tastings of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling and more will be in tasting through the day. (Dependent on Maude opening hours and availability.
From Maude we have a 15 minute cycle to Aitkens Folly, we are once again connecting to the vines as they are onsite and learning more about the smallest family owned vineyard in Central Otago. In tasting here will be their delectable Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. After Aitkens Folly we continue along leisurely toward Wanaka town.
