Excellent tour with BH Lanka Tour - Excellent tour. Every day was well planned and organized. The itinerary was good mix of cultural, historical places and natural adventures. We had very good driver-guide Nalin who has excellent knowledge country history and very nice personality. We were feeling very safe with him in any places. The car (honda hybrid) was very clean and comfortable. The selection of hotels was good. These hotels and resorts are not part of the major hotels chains, but has comfortable clean rooms , restaurants and pools. It was so nice to swim in pool after full day of adventures and after that have setted dinner in hotels. All hotels were provided breakfast and dinner, so you don't need to go to the town, when you are tired. Over all it was a great trip, thanks to BH Lanka tour and personally to Nalin.

The most perfect holiday! - If you are thinking of doing a tour in Sri Lanka, we highly recommend BH Lanka Tours/Capital Lanka Tours. The booking process was really easy and we received all the promised docs on time. On arrival, we were greeted promptly by a driver and taken to our hotel and had the first day to settle in and catch up on sleep/jet lag. We booked a group tour but ended up having the tour all to ourselves which was great and allowed for a lot more flexibility and choice. All the activities in our trip were great - we loved how they were a mix of active, adventure and cultural activities. Over the 10 days we did Sigiriya Rock Climb, Village tour, Temples, White Water Rafting, Tea Plantations, Ella Train, Little Adam’s Peak & Nine Arch Bridge, Yala Safari, snorkeling as well as stops along the way at various view points, waterfalls and other sites of interest. The tour was full of activities but we found that every 3rd day or so you finished most activities by mid afternoon and had some nice wind down time to relax or explore. It’s a great tour for anyone that likes to keep active and likes to keep busy, while also having a little time to yourself. We also found the drives each day were also a great time to see the countryside. All the accomodations were fabulous, staff always very attentive and were always there at a drop of a hat. We were super surprised to find dinner was included all but one night at the hotels and every meal was delicious with lots of variety! Stays varied from 4+ star hotels to some more unique stays (we loved Kassapa & Forest Edge as these were secluded, not necessarily 5 star but the staff and experience was fantastic) While the stays and activities were amazing, this tour just wouldn’t have been what it was without our guide, Nalin. We can’t thank him enough for his impeccable hospitality. His attention to detail and service was what made our trip unforgettable. From his extensive knowledge of the country, his local contacts for best experience on activities, taking photos, always checking in to make sure we were happy and even changing activities when he knew there was a better alternative (for example, going out of his way getting us on the earlier train to Ella, which was amazing as our original train ended up breaking down not running!) He was always a friendly warm face every morning and became a great friend of ours. He is the epitome of 5-star service and we don’t know what we would have done without his guidance to make our holiday as perfect as what it was and our only wish is that it lasted longer!

Best of Sri Lanka - We did an 8-day "Best of Sri Lanka" tour. Our guide Prasanna guided us through the country brilliantly. We never felt unsafe thanks to him. The schedule was tight, but that's because of the long journeys. Thanks to him, we were able to get to know the country in a very short time and experienced and learned a lot about the culture, the country and its people, as well as how cinnamon and tea are made, and which animals and plants are native to the area. There was nothing wrong with the accommodation during the trip. In some places, we could have stayed longer :)

Beautiful Sri Lanka and Maldives - My husband and I took the 10-day tour of Sri Lanka and added 4 days in the Maldives. Without a doubt, this was an excellent tour and we learned so much about Sri Lanka, its culture, traditions, and history and we were very lucky to make new friends along our journey. Upon arrival, our driver/guide, Kamilas Dabarera, met us at the airport in Colombo. We wasted no time in starting our beautiful tour. Sri Lanka is gorgeous from its incredible beaches to its lush green mountains. Kamilas drove us from city to city and showed us so many sites and temples. Every place was breathtaking. One of our favorite experiences was taking a sunrise hot air balloon and seeing the Sri Lankan landscape from above. We absolutely recommend taking a trip to Sri Lanka. We went in mid-November, and it was still pretty hot and humid but well worth it. The Maldives were a complete surprise on how incredibly beautiful the islands and surround waters are. Pictures definitely do not do it justice. We highly recommend the swimming with nurse shark excursion. It will make a memory of a lifetime! Our entire trip was made extremely special by Kamilas. He took great care of us, entertained us with stories, and gave us lessons in the history of Sri Lanka. The most special thing we are taking away from this trip is our new friendship with Kamilas and his family.

Great Sri Lanka Experience - I went on a 10-day tour of Sri lanka from 27th Oct with Capital Lanka. I hadn’t been to Sri Lanka before and it’s an amazing place for an adventure to see many different landscapes, natures, and climates. The tour was 8 days of travelling to new destinations each day followed by last 2 days at the beach. It packed lots of different excursions in and was a great introduction to see what Sri Lanka can offer, it was well timed and the 2 days on the beach at the end were great. My highlights were Sigiriya lion's rock, river rafting and Yala safari (we had a great view of a leopard). Tried snorkelling with turtles and surfing at the beach was also great fun. My guide, Ruvin, was great, from the big hug at the start to helping me throughout the tour and being flexible when needed, great guy and good company. I would recommend Sri Lanka and will go back again, the tour was really good as was Ruvin, my one issue was I was the only person on the tour and having some company would’ve been nice. This didn’t get in the way of enjoying the tour and Ruvin was great, but if you’ve after company you’d need to check before booking (I did go in low season). Alternatively, if you wanted a private tour this would be an excellent choice.
