Negombo Beach - After breakfast, explore Negombo City, visiting the fish market, observing fish drying on the beach, and seeing the Dutch fort and Dutch Canal.

(Starting from Hendala to Pamunugama, the canal was constructed by the Portuguese in the 17th century and used as a supply route during Dutch administration. The canal, which is still in use, runs across the town and is 100 kilometers long. It served as a supply route for the Dutch administration, along with old churches and fishing villages during Dutch rule.)

SIGIRIYA

Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - Climb the 5th-century AD rock fortress of Sigiriya, where King Kasyapa once ruled. Enter through the lion’s paws at the entrance, aptly named ‘the Lion Rock.’ Admire the beautiful, unfading murals that have made Sigiriya famous. Relax and walk along the shores of Lake Gregory. Enjoy a peaceful day filled with beautiful sights.

Damro Labookellie Tea Centre and Tea Garden - Tour a tea factory and plantation to see how the world-famous “Ceylon Tea” is made. In 1824, the British brought a tea plant to Ceylon from China and planted it in the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya for non-commercial purposes. James Taylor, a British citizen, introduced commercial tea plantation in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) in 1852 and settled in Loolecondera estate in Kandy. Today, even those unfamiliar with Sri Lanka know Ceylon tea for its quality. You will see how Ceylon Tea is made in a factory and taste various teas.

Amazing Driver,Great Guide & Reliable Company - My husband and I engaged the services of Kingfisher Tours for our planned 28-night tour of Sri Lanka, arriving Colombo early March 2020. The pre arrival communication with Kingfisher Tours booking service was professional, informative and timely. The quotation provided was detailed and competitive and offered travel alternatives and good local advice. Our driver Aswar was an exceptionally brilliant driver who made us feel safe and secure throughout our time with him. There is no way that tourists should be allowed to hire cars/drive on local roads! Aswar’s skills as a local tourist guide, hospitality professional and driver with over 15+ years experience provided us enormous peace of mind. Regretfully our time in Sri Lanka was cut short due to Covid-19, however Kingfisher Tours communication with us throughout this difficult time was always informative, responsive and professional. Highly recommend using this company.

Excellent two-weeks in Sri Lanka - We booked a 11 days tour around the island with Kingfisher Tours Sri Lanka, and were not disappointed. Everything went smoothly. Our driver/guide, Mr. Sashi, was pleasant, kind and flexible, happily taking us on a detour if we’d read or heard about an interesting site not on the itinerary, or when we wanted to enjoy a meal outside of our various hotels. Once he got to know us and our personal interests, he made useful suggestions, turning it into a highly personalized tour. The Guest Relation Officer of the company, Mr. Aashik, also was helpful with problem-solving and made himself available anytime he was needed. The hotels were fantastic and the locations are more than we expected, Thanks to all the crew at Kingfisher Tours for a memorable visit to their lovely, friendly country!

Splendid 11 Days in Sri Lanka! - Spend amazing 11 days here in Sri Lanka doing a range of activities - Snorkerling, Hiking, Climbing famous Sigiriya Lion Rock and many more with Glamping at Yala. My family and i thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this beautiful paradise and very pleased with the service of Kingfisher Tours Sri Lanka provided, In particular our Guide Mr. Prabha was very accomoding in satisfying us with all his wonderful service such as early morning climb to Adam’s Peak and last minute massage cravings. He never missed to entertain our day with all his fun facts and experienced knowledge about the Country, It was very kind of Prabha to take the extra step to introduce to us some traditional Sri Lanka street food such as our now favourite coconut and honey pancake! More importantly, we felt safe in his hands as we toured this country during this difficult period of time. We would like to thank Kingfisher Tours for planning this amazing itinerary and Prabha for seeing it through. I would highly recommend Kingfisher Tours Sri Lanka to anyone who wants to visit Sri Lanka!
