Elsen Tasarkhai - 1 day- After picking you up from your hotel, we’ll start driving to west for semi Gobi. After about 4 hours of drive on a paved road (in between coffee breaks and toilet visits will be provided), you’ll be in semi-Gobi. Our nomadic family (camel herder) will be waiting you and welcome to their home. You will be introduced to the lifestyles and people of nomads in semi-Gobi. Local Mongolian lunch, which is made by the lady of the nomad family, will be served. After lunch, it is time to ride the camels. You will be taken to the sand dunes with your camel (you can take the lead of your camel if you want to! Just let the camel guide know!). It is a great way to get introduced to the lifestyles of nomads as the local family has many sheep, goats and horses besides hundreds of camels. After a joyful day with the family, we’ll head to Karakorum (which was the ancient capital of Mongol Empire). After check in to the ger camp, dinner time! Then you will be taken to the hill top for the panaromic view of the small city of Karakorum (also for your digestion after heavy Mongolian meals!). Overnight at traditional Mongolian yurt known as ger.
