A great Safari experience - This safari is highly recommended, everything is well organised, it is quite a long drive to Albertina, but along the way you will pass plenty of nice places where you can look around and where the tour guide will tell you about. Our tour guide was Vaughan, he knew a lot about everything and made everyone laugh a lot, thank you for this unforgettable experience! The safari itself is also well arranged and you really get the chance to see the big 5 if you are lucky.

Amazing trip - This was an amazing trip where you get to see so many spots in just 2 days. Both our tour guides, Ben and tahlia were amazing and did everything they can to make us comfortable and to show us different spots. They were also very accommodating with anyone who needed extra help or concerns. Amazing, I would do this again

Great tour and tour guide!! - This was a wonderful tour and our tour guide Chris was excellent! He had so much knowledge and really did a great job talking about the history of the area and stopping a long the way to see awesome sights or getting coffee or lunch. He also made an additional stop along the way knowing we would miss it the next day when it was going to rain. The lodge was great and so was the food they served. The game drive and guide was also very good for a first time safari experience. I only wish we had a little more time at the lodge but the drive there and back takes time and with the stops along the way, we didn't have time to hang by pool/hot tub But overall it was wonderful!

Enjoyable two day experience - The Garden Route two day safari is highly recommended. It’s quite a drive for the time spent at the game park, but well worth it for the beautiful South African countryside and the stops along the way. Mawande was our guide and his expansive knowledge of South Africa and its history was a highlight for us. We enjoyed his company very much. The guides at the lodge are knowledgeable and very entertaining. We learnt a great deal about their conservation efforts. The lodge itself is top notch. The rooms are comfortable and the food delicious Understand that you are not visiting the wilds of the Serengeti, this is a game reserve, but a very enjoyable two day safari experience. Thanks to Mawande, I hope we cross paths again

The best experience! - Everything was perfect! We had Frank for our BokBus driver and was very knowledgable, funny, kind, and accomodating. The bus was clean and comfortable. The chalets at the game lodge were very nice and the grounds were gorgeous. The food was "ok" but I only say that because compared to all the extraordinary food we've had in South Africa, it was by far THE most lackluster. I think if I had much lower expectations- I would probaby have enjoyed it better. (to be honest- the food at the fuel stations going to the lodge and from it were way better). But, the service was good! Check in and out were very easy. (Stuffies/gifts at the lodge were more cost effective than the malls if you have small children like I do and want to grab one). I love that Frank took the time to get to know everyone and ate with us for both meals there. Was very personable and I enjoyed that. He's truly a gem! The safari- ah! It was such a dream! I wish I could have done the safari for a whole week! Our game range guide Thomas was very knowledgable and very kind (and handsome! haha) I appreciate his insight into the animals' behavior and environment and conversation on conservancy beyond just showing us the animals themselves. He also patiently answered what probably felt like my bazillion questions. Thank you, Thomas! My whole dream when I found out I was going to South Africa was to do this and live out my inner "Nat Geo" girl dreams. If you'e a photographer and nervous about bringing your camera- it is worth it. Just do it. I brought my older 5D Mark III (instead of my mirrorless R5 and wish I would have brought the R5 for low light in evening cos of shooting at 2500 iso with higher shutter speeds at sundown- plus it was overcast first day) and my 2.8, 70-200mm lens, but strongly advise bringing 4.5-5.6, 100-400mm instead. While a bit more distortion, it is worth it to not crop and less grain/luminance. You can also rent cameras and gear while in South Africa. Trust me when I say, it is worth it to rent or bring your own gear. Even if you have an old SLR or DSLR- it is better than a cellphone. TRUST ME. Do not have photo regret!

Quick safari out of Capetown - This was a great 2 day trip to get to see some of Africa's fabulous wild life. Vaughan was a great tour guide. But there is alot of driving (broken up with good spots for food and additional sights). It would have been nice to have additional time at the lodge, we didn't have any time for relaxing there or using the amenities, which looked great. Maybe an additional day, next time!
