Cazinoul Constanta - A great piece of Art Nouveau architecture from the early 20th century, the Casino was once the symbol of Romania’s main port, Constanta, on the shore of the Black Sea.
No other monument illustrates so perfectly the Belle Epoque in Constanta like the building of the Casino. Dating from the first years of the last century, the Casino was built at the initiative of Romania’s first King, Carol the 1st. It was inaugurated in 1910, and until the Second World War, it was the main seaside meeting point for the rich tourists who enjoyed gambling.

This is an exclusive excursion to Dobrogea region, along the Black Sea and into the stunning Danube Delta. We’ll fetch you from your location in a private auto or mini-bus and transport you to Romania’s oldest city, Constanța. Here, we’ll enjoy a leisurely stroll through the historic city center. Lunch will be served at a seaside eatery. After, we’ll travel to the ancient Enisala fortresses erected by Greek settlers 3000 years prior. We’ll rest at a hotel within the Danube Delta for the night. Come morning, we’ll set sail on a boat journey through the delta’s narrow passageways, spotting a variety of birds, wildlife, and marine life. We’ll then head for lunch in a fishing community. We’ll take in the natural wonders of the Biosphere reservation. By nightfall, we’ll make our return to Bucharest.
