A perfectly organized, complex excursion. - We booked this 2-day excursion before flying to Egypt, based on the glowing reviews read here. And we were not disappointed. Everything was wonderfully organized by Akram, and yet it was a complex private excursion. Pick-up from the hotel in the early hours by Akram himself, then flight Hurghada - Cairo by Egyptair. Our driver was waiting for us at the exit of the terminal with the guide. Visit to Giza (pyramids - sphinxes) then meal in a typical restaurant. And finally the Egyptian museum in Tahrir Square and visit to a papyrus manufacturing workshop. Return to the airport for the Cairo - Luxor flight, and overnight in a hotel on the banks of the Nile. The second day, picked up at the hotel by another guide and another driver to start with a visit to the extraordinary Karnak temple. To follow, head to the west bank of the Nile towards the Valley of the Kings, and visit 3 tombs of pharaohs (tip: think in advance which ones you want to visit). Then, head to the well-restored Hatshepsut temple, then eat in a very nice restaurant for a delicious local meal. Visit a stone sculpture workshop and return to the Hurghada hotel by road with our driver. Nothing to say, we opened our eyes wide 🤩🤩😊.
