Highlights

Marrakech

Ouarzazate - Our journey commences from Marrakech at the break of dawn, precisely 7 AM. We’ll embark on a two-hour drive across the Tizi N’ Tichka pass, the loftiest of its kind in North Africa. Midway, we’ll pause for a delightful Moroccan breakfast, seizing the opportunity to capture the mountainous vistas with our cameras.

Post breakfast, we’ll proceed to the enchanting city of Ouarzazate, often dubbed the ‘Hollywood of Morocco’ due to its popularity as a filming location, including for the movie Babel featuring Brad Pitt.

The Ait Ben Hadduo Kasbah, a relic of ancient Moroccan architecture and a UNESCO world heritage site, awaits your exploration. Following this, the Atlas Film Studios offers a captivating cinematic journey.

A hearty lunch in Ouarzazate will fuel you for the onward adventure to Zagora. En route, we’ll pass through Agdez and quaint Berber villages, with a possible detour to the Draa Valley, home to Morocco’s longest river, promising awe-inspiring views.

Upon reaching Zagora, capture the moments with your camera and unwind briefly before we venture into the heart of Zagora. Camel rides will usher us to our campsite, timed perfectly to arrive as the sun dips below the horizon.

At the camp, indulge in the local tradition of sipping sweet Berber mint tea, followed by a delectable dinner. Post-meal, enjoy the rhythms of music by the campfire, with the Sahara’s Touareg nomads as your evening companions.

Zagora

Zagora - Rise early on day two to witness the desert sunrise, an experience sure to imbue your day with joy. After basking in the morning’s first light, a scrumptious Moroccan breakfast will be served. We’ll then set off back to Marrakech, anticipating an evening arrival.

Morocco and it’s many beauties - Out group of 12 people went out to the Sahara desert for a 2 day trip. We were in Morocco to celebrate New Year’s eve and after a great night clubbing we went on the next deay with quite a hangover on this two day tour. I must say the facilities and journey was harsh but absolutely did not feel so with the great company of Abdallah and his hospital nature. Above all he had great communication skills in many languages and a great sense of modesty and humor. We had a great time and strongly recommend to visit the Moroccan Sahara. Take 3 days insteas of two, it is quite a unique and healing experience.

Great experience! - We went for the Desert Trip to Zagora. We had a private driver, Hachim, he is a very good driver and made us feel very safe. Not badly priced either. The accommodation itself was ok, so was the food. The best thing, is the pictures you get to take. Great and different experience. 👍🏻
