Miraculous in Zhangjiajie with MichaelMagic - We had wonderful time in Zhangjiajie china with our tour guide Michaël.He knew everything here and make our trip easier and happier.

Amazing - I booked a two day tour and it was great! Everyone was super accommodating and extremely helpful. I also added a last minute part and my tour guide Ella was able to accommodate it. She was super friendly and answered all my questions would definitely do again.

The best, just blindly book for them without any second thoughts for a wonderful experience!! - We arrived at Zhangjiajie from Beijing via the high speed train. Cathy graciously received us at the railway station exit along with the driver Mr.Long. We got onto a car (that was so roomy and comfortable) to be dropped off at the hotel. She clearly explained the plan for the upcoming days and also narrated various stories of the Zhangjiajie minority groups and their culture. Day 1: Next day morning she greeted us at the hotel at around 8.30am. Since our hotel was close to the Zhangjiajie National park, we took a quick walk to the park. We took the cable-way to the mountain top and visited the Tianzi mountains, Avatar mountains (gave us pandora vibes), the natural bridge. The scenery was so surreal!! It was initially foggy due to rainy weather, but the rain God showed mercy upon us andthe fog cleared to unveil the mesmerizing landscapes of Zhangjiajie! We could not stop staring at them in awe! After taking a lot of pictures to the heart's content, we finally descended via the Bailong elevator. Cathy was very patient, helpful and kind throughout the trip. She took the tickets for us wherever required. (All the above covered in the package) She took us to a cozy and elegant restaurant outside the park for lunch. We had some yummy local delicacies. The lunch was included in the package! Later she took us on a stroll to the Wulingyan street for some shopping and bid good bye. Day 2: On the next day morning Jason greeted us with a cheerful smile at the hotel entrance! He was filled with energy and enthusiasm. We started our tour with the Golden whip stream at the national park. On the way he described the rich culture of the Chinese people, their ways, faiths, significance of practices. It truly felt like travelling with your best friend who could keep you enthusiastic and motivated to explore more! We learnt a lot about the Chinese tradition and he was always happy to answer any question we asked! He captured some amazing pictures for us too like a pro! Later he took us for Lunch at a popular restaurant. He was kind enough to order food for us based on our requirements. He made sure we had an experience of some amazing Zhangjiajie specialities! The food was soooo yummy and he was very kind enough to explain how different parts of China have different culinary habits when dinning. Then we took a car ride to the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. He bought the tickets for us and clearly explained the order of activities to be taken up! We purchased a 120 Yuan / person ticket to cover additional activities like the zipline, flying VR, slideway. We started with the stunning glass bridge and after crossing we took the zip line and the slideway to reach the bottom of the canyon! All of them were a breathtaking experience. Finally we went for an eco walk in the beautiful valley along the gushing stream and boarded the boat that took us on a 15 minute ride to the park's exit. It was the best day of the trip.. so hassle free and engaging with Jason. ( We already miss him!) Our train to our next destination Shanghai was on the next day morning. Though the package covers drop-offs only on the day 2 of the trip, the tour operator was humble enough to provide us a drop off at the railway station on the next day early in the morning. Special thanks to our driver Mr.Long for arriving on time (as early as 6AM) to pick us up from the hotel and dropping us off at the right time at the railway station. We would have felt lost without the amazing tour guides Cathy and Jason! It truly was an experience of a lifetime for the both of us! Unforgettable experience in Zhangjiajie! - Since we were coming from Guangzhou we landed mid-day in Zhangjiajie. Our driver was waiting for us when we arrived and was very courteous. He drove us the roughly 30 mins to our hotel in Wulingyuan. Venus arranged a nice two day visit for us based on our interests. Our tour guide was Esther and she was absolutely delightful. Her English was excellent and she was an expert navigator in the park. It’s a VERY LARGE park with many shuttle bus systems so it was critical to have her with us to efficiently get us from place to place. During our walks she shared with us a lot of information about the area and was very knowledgeable. In two days we felt like we were able to see the best parts of the area and not miss out on anything major. Tianmen Mountain is also a must see if you don’t have a fear of heights! We will definitely be reaching out again the next time we visit the area.

Amazing 2 days trip with Esther - We had a fantastic tour throughout Zhangjiajie. In first day we visited Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Esther our tour guide was very brilliant, she picked the right route so we didn't have a long queue. We try the cable car, mini bus, big bus, bailong elevator and mini train. The forest park was a breathtaking sceneries. In second day we visited Baofeng lake, yellow dragon cave and the glass bridge. Esther was very knpwledgeable, fun and nice. She informed us about the Zhangjiajie and the places we visited. Esther took us to local restaurant and the food was delicious. Then she took us for foot massages before drop us at the airport. She helped us at check in counter. Really wonderful holiday. I would highly recommend this tour !. Thank you Esther

My best trip in China - I visited zhangjiajie twice with Discover Zhangjiajie Tours, It was wonderful! The amazing mountains, Valley and glass bridge everything is unforgettble. My guide was Mia for the first trip, she was humor and took very good care of me, m e can exchange the schedule flexibly to utmost my trip value. i will go back in different season for sure. Strongly recommend this trip, recommend this agency.

Bringing AVATAR to life! - It is a few years (hence before April 2018 as shown) since I visited Zhangjiajie now but I remember it so vividly. The trip was brought to life by 'Venus' who was a wonderful tour guide - always smiling and concerned that I was having a good time - that wasn't difficult! ZJJ (as people call it..) is a spectacular place that your senses simply is unprepared for - the natural limestone features are complemented by curious huge lifts - and now the famous 'glass bridge' - I've got to go back and walk across that ! As a westerner I found myself part of the attraction - which was all in good humour and a lot of fun. Go there - with Venus!

Matthew was a PHE-NO-ME-NAL tour... - <p>Matthew was a PHE-NO-ME-NAL tour guide. He got us everywhere we wanted to go as smooth as possible given the huge crowds and was very nice and polite. His English is also great and is very easy going. I highly recommend him as a tour guide. I would say that there is a lot of hiking on this tour though and does not include the glass bridge which locals say is overrated. Still, a really great guide goes a long way to enjoying all this park has to offer....and you do need a guide to get around the buses that transport you around the park!!</p>

The perfect way to see all... - <p>The perfect way to see all Zhangjiajie highlights! We loved Eric, he was very friendly and full of knowledge and stories. Transportation was easy to/from the airport to our hotel and the drivers were all very good. The company is very responsive when contacting with your hotel itinerary. Just don't use Google! Gmail doesn't work while in China.</p> <p>The national park is absolutely gorgeous. There are plenty of places along the tour for water/snacks from locals. The first day was more walking/steps as you are up in the mountains. The second day with the path stream was very peaceful. Dress in layers too! Lunch was had at a local restaurant and our guide ordered based on our taste we love trying new foods. Hunan food is delicious and the wheat tea was a highlight brought some home!. This tour company is very organized and very professional. Highly recommend!</p>

We could not have been happier with... - <p>We could not have been happier with our Zhangjaijei experience. Our guide / interpreter Mathew was superior, and worked out our schedule to visit Tienmen mountain when the skies were clear and we were able to see all of the natural beauty. The sites were breathtaking and we would not have been able to navigate to and from the multiple spots on our own. If we had not had our excellent guide we would only have been able to see a small portion of the sites. HAVING OUR OWN PERSONAL GUIDE MADE THE TRIP 100 BETTER. Thank you Mathew and Viator for this once in a lifetime beautiful experience!</p>
