Great experience as a solo female - Great way to see Chitwan! As a female solo traveler in a foreign country it can be difficult to get to places outside of cities, but this worked out very well. The Royal Tiger hotel was nice and the staff was amazing, even helping me choose the less spicy foods haha. The only reason you may not like this is because of the bad road or if your excursions are with other tourists, but that would just mean Chitwan is not for you. If you want to see the park (and many rhinos!) this is a great option.

Amazing trip -- highly recommend. - The trip was amazing, from beginning to end. They picked me up at the bus station and made sure I was comfortable during my stay at the Seven Star Hotel. My room was comfortable...with all the amenities, plus the food was delicious -- the manager Ramesh Prasai went above and beyond to make sure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Immediately after my arrival, I was greeted by my guide Arun -- he was very professional, friendly and accomodating. He is a Chitwan native and well versed in the local flora & fauna. Arun took me sightseeing and took care of all the safari logistics. To sweeten up the deal, he also arranged a local cuisine dinner.

Great to see another side of Nepal - Nice to get away from the city and see some wildlife. A great 3 days (but a little to long sitting on a bus - 9 hours one way & 8 & 1/4 the other) so would recommend looking at other travel options at least one-way, especially if your short of time. Hotel, food and guide for around the Park were all excellent.

Nature at its best - We had such a great time! The canoe ride and walking tour with the most knowledgeable guide were incredible! The hotel staff were most helpful and the tour operator went out of his way to accommodate our requests. I can highly recommend this trip

Fun trip! - Himalayan Recreation provided a guide to get me to the bus stop for my trip to Chitwan. The hotel they lined up was a newer, more eco-friendly place that was very nice. Our guide was very informative and helpful. He spoke very good english.

Far from a VIP Chitwan experience - Chitwan was great, this experience was not. We would have been better off just going to Chitwan and figuring it out from there. For starters, there was miscommunication on where we were staying at. The info provided said we were staying at a different hotel which then made pick up difficult. The first day the hotel manager walked us around the elephant stable and river and clearly didn’t know anything about the elephants. Second day we had an actual guide for the river tour which was great. But after that was over there was no ride to pick us up and we had to hitch hike back to the hotel. Later in the afternoon we did a jeep safari. Our jeep was full of local families and their crying children scaring away any animals. The guide also barely spoke English, which is an issue as I clearly stated I’m english speaker. The last day we were told to be up at 7am for the bus, but our bus didn’t pick us up until 8:15am creating a logistic nightmare on the back end.
