Option A: Horseback Riding (2 hours)
Option B: Hike to the José Rivas Refuge (approximately 1.5 hours) starting from the parking lot at 4864 meters above sea level.

Later, we’ll explore the Mariscal Sucre Interpretation Center, featuring a captivating exhibition of photographs and information about Cotopaxi Volcano.

Following lunch, our journey continues to Tungurahua, where you’ll have dinner and experience the enchanting nightlife of Baños de Agua Santa.”

Cascada el Manto de la Novia - Afterward, we’ll continue our adventure along the Waterfall Route, where you’ll have the exhilarating opportunity to ride a cable car over the Pastaza River, granting you extraordinary panoramic vistas.

Mega Adventure Park Río Blanco.. - For those seeking more adventure, you have the option to enhance your experience with exciting activities along this route at a nominal additional cost. CASCADA EL PAILON - Next, we’ll embark on a scenic hike to the awe-inspiring Pailón del Diablo waterfall, undoubtedly the most breathtaking highlight of the Tungurahua Waterfall Route. Here, you’ll have the chance to get up close and personal with the cascading wonder of nature. After this invigorating excursion, we’ll gather for a delightful lunch (available at an additional cost) to recharge. Following our satisfying meal, our journey continues, leading us into the lush rainforests of the Napo River.

Mirador Mira Mera - Later, we’ll make our way to the Mira Mera viewpoint, offering breathtaking vistas of the winding river, the deep canyon, and the suspension bridges that add to the natural beauty of the landscape. This panoramic stop is a photographer’s dream and a perfect opportunity to soak in the majestic scenery.”

Misahualli River - After our visit to the Mira Mera viewpoint, our journey continues as we head towards the Napo Province, where we will spend the night in a jungle lodge nestled within the heart of the tropical rainforest. Before reaching our lodge, we’ll make a memorable stop to explore the renowned Monkey’s River Beach, situated between the Napo and Misahualli rivers. This charming town serves as a primary hub for canoes and boats traveling along the Napo River, and it boasts a picturesque sandy beach that’s famous for its playful troop of monkeys

Napo Province - As we arrive at the dock area of the Suchipakari EcoLodge, our friendly staff will extend a warm welcome to you with a refreshing tropical drink. You’ll also receive a brief orientation about your accommodation and the upcoming activities, which will be provided by one of our expert naturalist guides.

Following a delicious dinner, get ready for an enchanting nocturnal journey into the heart of the jungle. Armed with your flashlight and camera, you’ll embark on a night hike, guided by our expert. This experience allows you to immerse yourself in the symphony of nocturnal sounds, from the calls of fishing bats and owls to the intriguing hum of insects. Keep your eyes peeled for encounters with tarantulas, toads, frogs, and perhaps even the elusive snake.
