Hobbiton and Rotorua
Hobbiton Movie Set - Upon arriving at Hobbiton, you’ll be guided through a scenic 1,250-acre sheep farm with stunning views of the Kaimai Ranges. As you tour the site, you’ll hear intriguing stories about the creation of the Hobbiton Movie set.
The Hobbit holes, Green Dragon Inn, the Mill, and other structures were built for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films. You can see how this charming piece of Waikato farmland was transformed into The Shire from Middle-Earth, concluding with a complimentary drink at the Green Dragon Inn. You’ll also have the chance to explore the interior of one of the Hobbit Holes before your tour ends.
Te Puia - Join a guided tour of Te Puia to see the Pohutu geyser, Art and Craft Institute, mud pools, Kiwi Conservation Centre, and other fascinating sights. After the tour, enjoy a buffet lunch at Te Puia, with options labeled for any dietary needs.
Mitai Maori Village - Experience a cultural evening with a traditional buffet dinner. Learn about the history of the Maori people through storytelling and performing arts. Transportation to and from your accommodation is included.
Waiotapu and Taupo Tour
Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland - At Waiotapu, you’ll witness the Lady Knox Geyser. Waiotapu is known as one of New Zealand’s most diverse and colorful geothermal parks. Marvel at the numerous boiling hot springs and vibrant colors around you on this self-guided walk through the park.
Taupo - Enjoy sightseeing in Taupo, including a visit to the Huka Falls. Your driver will guide you around the lakefront and other interesting spots. They will tailor the day to your interests as much as possible. Return to Rotorua after Taupo for drop-off at your accommodation between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
Polynesian Spa and Waitomo Caves return to Auckland
Polynesian Spa - Visit the Polynesian Spa in Rotorua, with Lake Spa admission included in your tour. You can use this on the evening of Day 2 or the morning of Day 3. A voucher will be provided at the end of your tour on Day 1.
Waitomo Caves - Travel from Rotorua to the Waitomo Caves, renowned for their thousands of glow-worms. Walk into the caves and then take a short boat ride on the underground river, passing beneath a canopy of glittering glow-worms and learning about the caves’ historical and geological significance.
After this, you’ll be taken back to Auckland, where your tour concludes.

We specialize in smaller luxury tours to and from Auckland and Rotorua. Our overnight tours include transport, admission and some food. We pickup from all accommodations in Auckland or Rotorua.
We do not cram people into every available space - your comfort and enjoyment are our priority
We have a maximum of 12 people or less per vehicle and have less seats than factory standard. This gives you more leg room and space between people.
