Highlights

Day 1 - Pick-Up in Delhi, Old and New Sightseeing, Drive to Agra

Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - The Jama Masjid of Delhi, also known as the Masjid-i-Jehan-Numa, stands as one of India’s most significant mosques, having been constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan during the years 1650 to 1656.

Chandni Chowk - In Old Delhi’s central district, Chandni Chowk is a lively shopping hub, featuring markets stocked with spices, dried fruits, silver jewelry, and colorful saris. The adjacent narrow lanes are bustling with small shops that offer essential oils, stationery, and classic Indian sweets. In the vicinity, you’ll find the expansive Red Fort, a significant monument from the Mughal era.

Rickshaw Tours - Take a rickshaw ride in historic Old Delhi, founded in 1638 when Emperor Shahjahan relocated his capital. Jahanara, his daughter, built a square that evolved into a bustling market. Today, it hosts silversmiths, repair shops, clothing vendors, street food stalls, and sweet shops. Our journey explores both the market and the local culture via a cycle rickshaw.

Red Fort - The Red Fort, situated in Delhi, India, is a historical fortress that served as the primary home for Mughal dynasty emperors for nearly two centuries, until 1856. Positioned at Delhi’s heart, it also contains several museums.

Qutub Minar - Qutub Minar, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, was built in 1193 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the founder of the Delhi Sultanate. The structure features a spiral staircase and is believed to draw inspiration from the Minaret of Jam.

Lotus Temple - The Lotus Temple, with its distinctive flower-like form, stands as a remarkable city attraction. Completed in 1986, this architectural gem has earned numerous awards and found a place in various newspapers and magazines. Moreover, it holds the distinction of being the world’s most frequented structure.

India Gate - India Gate is a war memorial found close to the Rajpath. It’s a tribute to the soldiers of British India who lost their lives in wars. Despite being a war memorial, India Gate showcases distinctive architectural style.

Parliament House - The Parliament House, also known as Sansad Bhavan, accommodates India’s two assemblies: Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Its design is inspired by the circular Ashoka Chakra and is encircled by beautiful green gardens, enhancing the overall view.

Rashtrapati Bhavan - Rashtrapati Bhavan serves as the official residence for the President of India. The Presidential Estate also encompasses extensive presidential gardens, vast open areas, accommodations for bodyguards and staff, stables, and various offices.

Agrasen Ki Baoli - Leamigo - Agrasen ki Baoli, acknowledged as a safeguarded monument by the Archaeological Survey of India according to the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act of 1958, is a historical step well that spans 60 meters in length and 15 meters in width.

Yamuna Sports Complex - While on the tour, you’ll get a chance to have lunch at a nearby restaurant. Afterward, you’ll embark on a drive through the Expressway to reach your hotel in Agra.

Agra - After reaching Agra, complete the check-in process at your hotel. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy your stay. You’ll spend the night at the hotel.

Amazing tour, excellent tour guide - Our tour guide made our day. Isha is a very kind person, she provided very insightful information about monuments and went further by providing detailed context which helped us to have a better understanding and could grasp better history. Me and my wife enjoyed our time, walking, taking pictures and asking questions to Isha. She encouraged us to raise our hands when we had a question and took the time to explain. Moreover she took very nice pics of us. I believe her deep knowledge and warm conversation kept us engaged throughout the tour. We had a blast, kudos Isha for the amazing experience.
