He drove us around in a comfortable 4x4 car and was an expert driver, as we drove anywhere from 4-9 hours per day. Our local guide in Fes, Jamal, was so passionate about his city and knew how to navigate the entire medina -- it felt like a maze! The highlight of the trip was definitely the Sahara desert. We spent the night in a luxury camp with a fire pit, stargazing, delicious meals and great traditional Berber music. Overall, traveling during the pandemic can be difficult.
