Special Angkor Wat Small Circuit with Sunset

Angkor Wat - After your breakfast our guide will meet and pick you up in the lobby at 8:00am at your accommodation (Hotel or Guest House) and we will take you to buy temples pass along the way to temples then we’ll visit the world famous Angkor Wat temple.

Ta Prohm Temple - It really is amazing! Afterward continue to Ta Promh on the small circuit road. This temple is one with a lot of gigantic tree roots over the temple and is the place where Hollywood made the movie “Tomb Raider”.

After busy couple hours in the morning between 12:00pm-1:00pm we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant nearby take around 45 minutes-1 hour ( Meals : food can be cost rank from 8USD per dish which depend on the food you order from menu ). After lunch then we go to the next temples in afternoon.

Ta Nei Temple - Ta Nei is small & quite temples with less restoration yet. It is a very good for those who want to avoid crowds. The temple is surrounded by many big trees.

Angkor Thom - At first we will stop by visit the Victory gate on the east side of Angkor Thom. After quick stop visit & taking photos then we continue to Bayon temple.

Bayon Temple - Bayon temple is in the centre of Angkor Thom city with 49 towers in which every tower has 4 faces, so that means there are 196 faces of Budhhistsatva Avalokestesvara and we walk to the next temple.

Baphuon Temple - The nearby temple is called Baphoun which is a Hindu temple built before Angkor Wat in 11st Century. The big Reclining Buddha behind it was built in 16th Century & we continue to Royal Enclosure Wall.

Phimeanakas - Phimeanakas is the pyramid Hindu temple built in 10 Century and located in the center of the old Royal Palace of Angkor Thom so we can visit Phimeanakas altogether with ancient Royal Enclosure Wall.

Terrace of the Elephants - Terrace of the Elephants is the platform was ever used by many kings to view victorious returning army and it has many pictures of elephants carving on the wall of the platform.

Phnom Bakheng - Last one we go to climb up the hill Phnom Bakheng for waiting to see sunset view but in case if you don’t want to be waiting for sunset then you can skip sunset.

Note: Due to the limited number of tourists allowed at the peak on Phnom Bakheng , if it is busy we will take you to climb up Phnom Bakheng a bit earlier and you can take a bit longer waiting for sunset ( Note : Waiting & see sunset will take 1.45 hours - 2 hours )

Additional Information

Over a period of 4 days, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the essential sights in and around Siem Reap, in addition to a few secluded attractions.

On Day 1, we’ll venture to all the primary temples located on the Small Circle road. On Day 2, we’ll journey to the sacred Kulen mountain in the National Park. Here, you can witness engravings beneath the riverbed as the water cascades over them, creating sanctified waters. On this day, we also plan to visit the temples of Banteay Srei, Banteay Samre & Pre Rup.

On the 3rd day, we’ll wake up early to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat — a truly breathtaking sight. Post sunrise, we’ll proceed to temples located on the Big Circle, including Prah Khan, Neak Poan, Ta Som & East Mebon. During the afternoon, we’ll chart our course to the southern part of Siem Reap to explore 3 major temples within the Rolous Group.

Day 4, the final day, involves a lengthy drive to observe the temples in the Koh Ker Group & Beng Mealea. These secluded temples, often overlooked by tourists, offer a tranquil experience and a picturesque view of the surrounding countryside.
