Aswan High Dam - start your day tour by visiting the High Dam, achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electricity. Prepare yourself for a particularly overwhelming sightseeing experience, Aswan High Dam is truly impressive. The Dam is 3600 metres long, 980 metres thick at base and 111 metres tall (at its highest point). The water of Lake Nasser, the world’s largest man-made lake, have amassed behind it. It provides irrigation water and electricity for the whole of Egypt. Located 13 km south of Aswan then drive to visit philae temple.

Temple of Philae - Proceed to visit Philae Temple, the Greaco Roman temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. This beautiful temple complex is one of the most picturesque in all of Egypt. It sits on Aglika Island just south of the old Aswan Dam.The temple was moved to its current location following the construction of the High Dam, which threatened to submerge it permanently. The careful reconstruction at the current site carefully completed, painstakingly preserving the original appearance and layout of the complex and even landscaping the island to match its former location. Philae rose to prominence during the Ptolomaic Dynasty as the center of the cult of the goddess Isis. This complex was actually one of the last remaining places where the ancient religion survived after the arrival of Christianity in Egypt, officially closing only in 551 AD. Early Christians then used the main temple on the island as a church. - Drive back to your Nile cruise and overnight in Aswan.

Cruise - We had an incredible experience on this cruise! Our guide was exceptional, very knowledgeable, and provided clear and detailed explanations at every stop. A small downside: the free time was sometimes a bit limited, but it didn't affect our overall enjoyment. 10/10 🙏🏽

Recommended-Tour guide is nice and fun - Our tour guide was Mahmoud Amin, a very helpful guy who seems to really care for his job. He provides the history and the information of the sites with detail and helped us avoid any frauds or extra charges on things we bought from locals. On the boat some foods are not that tasty but considering it is a different culture, taste can be different. Everyone on the boat is very nice. This cruise is recommended.

To do without hesitation! Cruise and guide at the top!!! - The cruise went very well. The services exceeded my expectations. The crew on board were really attentive. They were all very pleasant, helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Talaat Abdo, our guide, is very knowledgeable. He knew how to pass on his knowledge to us in a fun and dynamic way. He is a simple, very pleasant person, always in a good mood, helpful, concerned about everyone's well-being and promoting cohesion within the group. I definitely recommend it and I recommend this cruise. A real break from my sometimes hectic daily life.

Good tour but guide behavior requires attention - We were 3 friends traveling together in Egypt and our impression is that overall cruise experience was okay, but *we have the following comments*: **Positive Points:** Guide Knowledge: Talaat Abdo *seemed to have* a good understanding of the temples' history and provided informative explanations. Tips Package: Talaat handled all tips for $17, which was convenient given the frequent tipping requests in Egypt. *The cruise crew and the drivers were very helpful and we received no requests for extra tips.* **Areas for Improvement:** Guide Behavior and Attitude: Talaat often made inappropriate *touching and sexist jokes and comments*, and seemed impatient with questions from the group He sometimes blamed the group for the tour's itinerary *(which is exclusively determined by the tour company, we just bought the package offered)* and fatigue, which was unprofessional. Also, he made or suggested alterations to the original agenda of the tour, without proper clarification to the group and without mentioning that he was changing it. For exemple: he tried to take us to all the other activities of the 4th day in sequence, without returning to the cruise, to finish the schedule ahead of schedule (as a consequence, we would have to check out at 4 am and eat breakfast from lunchboxes instead of eating on the cruise and check out at 8am.) When my friends and I mentioned that we preferred to keep the schedule, he tried to convince the rest of the group in the opposite way, to create a dispute to support what he was trying to change. Having not succeeded, he seemed upset, he was not with us during the hot air baloon tour, and haven’t walked us to the Valley of the Kings after that while other groups have their guide with them. Finally, he tried to convince us to give him a feedback online while he was standing in front of us (which we declined), which was very unprofessional and unethical. **Overall Impression:** The cruise was good and allow us to see most of the temples around the Nilo river, our group was very friendly but Talaat's behavior significantly detracted from the experience. Professionalism and respect were lacking, and I would not recommend this tour without significant improvements of his behavior .

Good but not 5 star - Overall we had a good experience but not amazing: Nile cruise: - Itinerary: every day late - > not sticking to schedule as added stops like perfume factory or jewellery store which are touristy stops we didn’t want to go to. This also meant we were always late for dinner and only had what was left over - Food: ok - if your tour starts early you will get a breakfast box - not that great - Accomodation: didn’t ask for any bed arrangement- we had 2x single beds as a couple - Not western standard 5 star cruise, we would rate it as 2-3 star as furniture and decor outdated and with cracks. Guide: (Mohammed) - He spoke too fast and we weren’t always able to understand his English (we are native speakers) - Guide seemed annoyed most of the time and attended to his phone a lot making calls and messaging even during temple visits - Explanations were mostly outside of the temple and we had free time to take photos inside the temple. - The guide’s knowledge of Egyptology was good. - the guide added shopping stops like perfume factory, spice and jewellery shop -> we would have preferred if this was all on the last day so people who want to go can and people who don’t don’t need to come. The problem was we all had to go and this prolonged the day a lot Other travellers on the trip: - we had an amazing group with a mix of nationalities and got along really really well and had a lot of fun! :)

Comfortable way to see all sites - Overall it was a great experience- the sites are incredible to see- but the tour organisation is pretty bad. The boat staff were lovely and friendly and the rooms were comfortable. The buffet was lovely with lots of variety but drinks aren't included (incl water), and there's no wifi on board. The pool area was lovely with lots of shade. As the tours are organized seperate to the boat with different guides for each trip, it was difficult to get information (time and places) ahead of time. It would be nice if there was a central person to contact to get information.
