Depart from Durban and travel to the Wild Coast en-route to Mthatha

Wild Coast - Embark on a road trip from Durban to Mthatha along the Wild Coast, where you’ll encounter stunning landscapes, rich cultural experiences, and plenty of adventure. You’ll pass through African villages and have the opportunity to meet locals. This journey covers the KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape Provinces of South Africa. Upon reaching Mthatha, take a guided tour of the Nelson Mandela Museum to learn about the life of the iconic leader. Spend the night at the Savoy Hotel and Conference Centre in Mthatha or a similar accommodation.

Depart from Mthatha after breakfast and head to East London

East London to Port Elizabeth

Addo Elephant National Park - Depart from East London and head to Addo National Park for a day of safari adventures. Explore this vast game reserve, the third largest in South Africa, home to the largest elephant herd.

Port Elizabeth to Plettenberg Bay

Bloukrans Bridge - Travel from Port Elizabeth to Bloukrans Bridge, the site of the world’s highest bungy jump at 216 meters (own expense).

Plettenberg Bay - After exploring Robberg Nature Reserve, head to Plettenberg Bay to relax and swim at its beautiful white sandy beaches.

Plettenberg Bay to Knysna

Knysna Heads - The Knysna Heads are a must-see for nature enthusiasts, offering a blend of scenic beauty, adventure, and ecological diversity along South Africa’s Garden Route. It’s a great spot for photos.

The Waterfront Knysna Quays - The Knysna Quays Waterfront is a lively area in the heart of Knysna, situated along the scenic Knysna Estuary with stunning views of the surrounding hills and waterfront.
