Beijing - At 09:00am, your guide will meet you at your Beijing hotel lobby and start this 1 day Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven city tour.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Firstly, you will visit the Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum, and Gu Gong in Chinese, lies at the city center of Beijing, and once served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911). It was first built throughout 14 years during the reign of Emperor Chengzu in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Ancient Chinese Astronomers believed that the Purple Star (Polaris) was in the center of heaven and the Heavenly Emperor lived in the Purple Palace. The Palace for the emperor on earth was so called the Purple City. It was forbidden to enter without special permission of the emperor. Hence its name ‘The Purple Forbidden City’, usually ‘The Forbidden City’.

Jingshan Park (Jingshan Gongyuan) - Next, go to Jingshan Park which is a beautiful royal landscape garden. Covering an area of 57 acres (about 230,000 square meters), the park stands on the central point of the south-north axis of the city and faces the north gate of the Forbidden City. It is found on Jingshan Hill, which was originally named Wansui Hill (Long Live Hill), Zhen Hill or Meishan Hill (Coal Hill). The mid summit of the hill is the highest point in Beijing. Looking from the peak, you will able to get a full and clear view of the Forbidden City.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - And then, you will head to Tiananmen Square is the large plaza near the centre of Beijing named after the Tiananmen (literally translated as the “Gate of Heavenly Peace”). It sits to the city’s north, separating it from the Forbidden City. As a symbol it has great cultural significance, as it was the site of several key events in Chinese history.

Temple of Heaven - After the lunch, you will visit The Temple of Heaven, literally the Altar of Heaven, is a complex of Taoist buildings situated in south-eastern urban Beijing, known as the Xuanwu District. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest. It is regarded as a Taoist temple, although the Chinese Heaven worship by the reigning monarch “ohe day” pre-dates Taoism. The Temple of Heaven is a must-see attraction in Beijing!

Mutianyu Great Wall - Upon arrival in the parking lot of the scenic area, you will first take an electric car to the entry, and then take the chairlift up to the 14th watchtower. Have a leisurely hike on the wall for about 2 hours, at the end take the toboggan town. The Great Wall at Mutianyu was built and restored in the early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) and is one of the most famous sections of the Wall. Mutianyu enjoys the great reputation of “Out of all the Great Walls, Mutianyu stands apart”. Roam the ancient structure and learn the history and facts that make its so famous. Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling) - At 13:00 you will enjoy a lunch at a local countryside restaurant before heading to the Ming Tombs. The Ming Tombs lie in Changping County, about 50-kilometers northwest from the urban area of Beijing. The site is a tomb cluster of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), including 13 emperor’s mausoleums, seven tombs for concubines and one grave for eunuchs. Located at the foot of Mount Yan, the surrounding area is extremely beautiful.

Beijing - Your tour guide and driver will meet you at your Beijing hotel at 9:00am and driving to the Beijing Lama Temple, need 18 minutes driving, 6km.

The Summer Palace was Situated in the Haidian District northwest of Beijing, Summer Palace is 15 kilometers (9 miles) from the downtown area. There are more than 500 species of wildlife and vegetation in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, including rare monkeys, gingko trees and thousands of colorful birds. The most notable geographic features of the park are its hundreds of towering sandstone pillars. Fans of Hollywood blockbusters will instantly recognize the stunning landscape as the inspiration for the scenery of Pandora in James Cameron’s hit movie Avatar.

Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area of Zhangjiajie - The Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area boasts of natural beauty where mountains, valleys, forests, caves, lakes and waterfalls exist in total harmony. Over 560 attraction sights can be found here. The strangely-shaped peaks, the absurd stones, the hidden valleys, the wonderful waters and the limestone caves form the ‘Five Wonders’ of Wulingyuan and they are really worth seeing.

Covering an area of 690 square kilometers (266 square miles), Wulingyuan Scenic Area consists of four parts- Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve and the newly added Yangjiajie Scenic Area.

Today your tour will visit the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve area.

Tianzi Mountain - When you purchase the main park entrance tickets and you will take a shuttle bus(20 mins driving) to the Tianzi mountain cable station and need to walk up the 200 steps to reach the station.

Tianzi Mountain Clouds - After the 20 mins cable car ride, you will reach the top of the Tianzi mountain then we will take a shuttle bus again(5 mins driving) to the Tianzi Mountain central area which is provides stunning views of peaks, which rise one after another. It is known as ‘the Monarch of the Peak Forest’. At the top of the mountain, visitors can see the full extent of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Beautiful scenes of the mountain greet visitors in different seasons. There are four wonders: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine and the Snow in winter.

BaiLong Elevator - After the Yuanjiajie(Avatar mountain), you will take a shuttle(15 mins driving) head to the Bailong Elevator. Bailong Elevator is very magnificent. The total height of it is 335 meters (1099 feet), of which the running height is 326 meters (1069 feet). 154 meters (505 feet) of the total height is in the mountain wells and the rest of 172 meters (564 feet) was composed of steel derrick and other components. The Elevator includes three exposure sightseeing elevators running parallelly. Each elevator can take 50 passengers every time and the speed is 3 m / s (the speed has been accelerated to 5m / s since 2013). If the three elevators run simultaneously, the amount of one-way passengers will reach 4,000 per hour.

Golden Whip Brook - You will hiking around one hour along the Golden Whip Stream then take a shuttle go out of the park and back to the hotel. Golden Whip Stream (Jinbian Stream) is famous for its pristine water, its verdant mountains, its steep cliffs and its serene valley. As a veritable “paradise” for plants, its pathways are adorned by an abundance of flowers, trees, and grasses. And it is also a kingdom of animals. Golden Whip Stream is named after Golden Whip Crag, its landmark spot, and runs from Laomo Bay to Shui Rao Si Men(water-surrounded gates).

Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge - After the lunch, we will Transfer to Glass Bridge.Your local expert guide will take you to start the adventure trip in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, which is famous with explorers and lovers of nature from home and abroad, by featuring typical Zhangjiajie land form, breathtaking cliffs, lush forests, ancient caves, colorful ponds, and a river running through the canyon. Walk on the world’s longest and highest Glass Bridge in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Hanging over a valley, the glass bridge provides a superb panorama of the entire grand canyon. Zhangjiajie - At 9:00am, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer to the Zhangjiajie Tianmen park.

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - Today you will spend 3-4hrs at Tianmen Mountain Park. You will using the cale car or shuttle bus go up of the hill, but it depends of the traffic. Tianmen Mountain, appears as the ”New Legend Of Zhangjiajie “. It’s the highest spot (1500m) in Zhangjiajie,where you can walk on super-exciting cliff-path and glass walkway and see the whole city and beautiful countryside with bird’s view. and the landscape there is totally different from, meanwhile, at the same level as the ZJJ national Park. Both are world-class scenery, so it’s a must-visit highlight of this city you should not miss. What is more Unbelievable? this single mountain holds 4 World Guinness Records in its small body. and any of them will be overwhelmingly impressive to any type of human being. Fenghuang County - After the lunch, your guide will escort you to Fenghuang, need 3hrs driving, 220km. The Fenghuang(Phoenix) Town, built in 1704, was granted as a famous national cultural and historical city. The blue flagstone streets, stilted houses, and customs of the Miao nationality all make up its unique charm. For the rest of day, you can wander around the ancient town freely.

Fenghuang - Sanjiang Chengyang. O/N Chengyang village.

Phoenix Ancient Town - Today, you will have a full exploration of the Fenghuang Ancient Town. After breakfast, you will take a boat along Tuojiang River, the mother river of the town. The clean river flows slowly along the city walls and you can see water plants swaying in the gentle waves. In addition, the mist sometimes rises from the quiet green water, making it a fairyland. Then you will be guided to Wanming Pagoda on the north bank of the river. The hexagonal pagoda of around 21 meters (69 feet) high has seven layers. There are copper wind bells hanging at each corner of the eaves. Colored paintings and sculptures are also decorated on the body of the pagoda.

After enjoying the elegant pagoda, you will cruise down to the Rainbow Bridge. Looking out of the window on its second floor, you can have a good view of the green hills, blue water, city walls, red slates, and stilted houses. Besides, you can also see several boats moving quietly through the river.

Chengyang Bridge Scenic Resort - After lunch, will drive you to Sanjiang Chengyang Dong village( 4hrs driving, 315km) and touring in the village. In the village, you will see the landmark constructions of Dong village, the Wind and Rain Bridgeand the Drum Tower. Constructed with wood and bricks, the Wind and Rain Bridge blend the styles of bridge, corridor and kiosk into a whole, reflecting the unique Dong style and the wisdom of the Dong people. The bridge was built to provide a shelter for the people who works in fields, but later became a date place for the young people and a famous attraction to visitors at home and abroad. When you see the lofty pointed tower with upturned eaves, you will know that you come to a Dong Village. The Drum Tower is always located in the center of a village, acting as the political and cultural center. Every time when the chief of the village beats the drum on the top floor, villagers will stop their work and get together around the Drum Tower.

Chengyang - Longji - Guilin. O/N Guilin.

Chengyang Bridge Scenic Resort - Your guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel at around 08:30 in the morning. You will be escorted to the well-known Longji terraces in around 90 minutes ride, 100km.

Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces - The Longji Rice Terraces stretch layer upon layer from the mountain base to its summit. From the 13th century during the Yuan Dynasty, the local Zhuang people started to construct and use the amazing terraces. Now, the Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces cover an area of 66 square kilometers (about 16,308 acres) and span an altitude between 300 meters (about 984 feet) and 1,100 meters (about 3,608 feet). Standing on the mountain, you will be shocked by the patches of fields and curve lines around the mountains. You will then pay a visit to the Villages of Zhuang to experience the unique Chinese ethnic culture.

Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan) - Next, go to Guilin and visit the Reed Flute Cave which are large amount of stalactites and stalagmites, forming a luminous underground palace together with colorful lights on the ceiling of the cave.

Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiangbishan) - Then Continue the Guilin tour to Elephant Trunk Hill, a landmark of Guilin. The hill looks like an elephant stretching its trunk into the water trying to drink, showing the unbelievable creativity of the nature.

Guilin - At the end, your guide will escort you to your hotel and is free time for you.

Guilin - In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel at around 07:45, and then escort you to the Zhujiang pier, where you will start the Guilin Li River cruise to Yangshuo(4 star boat with the buffet lunch).

Li River - The boarding time is scheduled at 9:20am, and the whole journey takes about 4 hours. With your guide’s company and interpretation, you could immerse yourself in the stunning karst landscape made up of rolling hills, verdant forests, odd caves and tranquil villages along the Li River. A buffet Chinese lunch will be offered on board before you reach Yangshuo at 2:00pm.

Xianggong Mountain - After disembarkation, will drive you to see the Yangshuo Xianggong hill. You will climb for 15 minutes along a moderately sloped staircase to reach the top of Xianggong Hill. Please inform your guide in advance if you need a walking stick. Lying between the famous Yellow Cloth Shoal and the Mural Hill, Xianggong Hill is one of the greatest viewing platforms in Guilin to take in the glamour of the Li River. The supreme view of the meandering Li River making a 180-degree bend, attracts countless visitors and photographers annually.
