Drive to Lumbini

Lumbini Monastic Site - Drive to Lumbini (approximately 6-7 hours). The birth place of Gautam Buddha, it is listed as a World Heritage sites by UNESCO.

Maya Devi Temple - After breakfast, you will visit Maya Devi Temple.

Myanmar Golden Monastery - You will visit Myanmar, golden temple and more.

Drive to Pokhara

Pokhara Lakeside - You will drive to Pokhara and drive is about approx 4-5 hours.

World Peace Pagoda - In the morning, hike to the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist-style monument also known as Shanti Stupa, which lies above Phewa lake. From here, see the beautiful view of Pokhara.

Davi’s falls Pokhara - Then go sightseeing in Pokhara. See Davis falls (locally known as Patale Chhango). In the southern flank of the Pokhara valley. This is where the stream flowing from Fewa lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge, leaping through several potholes. The site is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike.

Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave - The revered Gupteswar Cave is situated across from Devi’s fall and the cave is almost two miles (approximately 3 kms) long. It has varied passages from hall-sized rooms to places where you have to crawl on all fours. Find a symbol of Lord Shiva preserved here, in the condition it was discovered.

Barahi temple - Head over 2,000 feet (approximately 800m) above sea level to Barahi Temple and Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in the region. Barahi Island Temple. Built almost in the middle of Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the female force Shakti, and is the most important religious monument in Pokhara. The reflection of Mt. Machhapuchhare and Annapurna can be seen in its serene water. Thick forest lies on the adjoining southern slopes of the lake.

Drive Back to Kathmandu

Thamel - Drive back to Kathmandu (approximately 5 - 6 hours). Then enjoy an evening farewell dinner with cultural program.

Embark on an 8-day private sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, Lumbini, and Pokhara, led by an English-speaking guide and chauffeur. Visit key historic, religious, cultural and natural landmarks. Explore Swaymbhunath, Pashupatinath and Durbar Square. Discover the UNESCO World heritage sites and magnificent temples built by artisans in Lumbini. Progress to Pokhara and climb to the Buddhist monument World Peace Pagoda amidst beautiful natural landscapes. Visit the Gupteshor cave with its expansive chambers and tight crawl spaces, and behold the breathtaking Barahi Island Temple situated in the heart of Phewa Lake. Package includes lodging and breakfast, transportation to and from attractions, as well as airport pickup and drop-off at Tribhuvan International Airport. Group size is capped at ten participants, although certain events (such as a farewell dinner) may be attended with other tour groups. Tour guides possess official licenses and are members of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN).

  • All accommodations are double rooms
  • You may get a visa in Kathmandu airport upon arrival. Please bring 2 photos for the visa. Expect to spend some waiting time in line to obtaining the visa. You can also get your visa prior to coming on the tour by contacting your closest Nepali embassy.
  • Infant seats are not available
  • Not recommended for children ages 2 and under
  • Minimum drinking age is 18 years
  • Typical Nepali food will be served during the farewell dinner
  • A moderate amount of walking is involved around 1-2 km for sightseeing
  • Vehicles do not have Wi-fi or bathrooms
  • Major currencies (USD, AUD, EURO) are accepted for both visa and in general. There are plenty of ATMs in both Kathmandu and Pokhara and credit cards are accepted in limited shops and many restaurants. Please note that only Nepali rupees are accepted on the trek.

Overall Satisfy - Overall satisfy with this trip package... the driver is good, driving skill excellence, road to Lumbini is very bad, therefore driver skill is important... the founder and GM of the tour provider also very nice... and same to all staffs of the tour provider... thank you everybody for making our trip memorable...
