- Pencil & Fork - We will meet at 11:30 at Pencil & Fork (Alfredo Vicenti 29), a cosy and stylish establishment in the centre of La Coruña, to start our great day with a \’chocolate con churros\’. At 12:00 with our local foodie, we will then visit the famous and vibrant food market at the Plaza de Lugo.

Embark on a unique culinary journey in La Coruña, exploring Galician delicacies. Our adventure begins with ‘chocolate con churros’ at Pencil & Fork, followed by a visit to the bustling Plaza de Lugo food market with David, our native epicurean, to learn about Galician food culture. David will then purchase the ingredients needed for our evening’s Cooking Masterclass. Next, we’ll make our way to a local hotspot known for its ‘vermouth’ for an aperitif – a flavoured wine that’s sure to whet our appetite, paving the way for a delicious tapas lunch and dessert at a charming local ‘taberna’. Our wonderful morning concludes around 15:30, providing some leisure time. We reconvene at Pencil & Fork at 19:00 for our Cooking Masterclass where, after a welcoming drink, we’ll cook up a delectable seafood dinner complemented by a choice local wine or beer. Our gastronomic adventure calls it a day Around 21:30. Hosted by our British-Spanish team David and Ana from the Pencil & Fork, this promises to be an incredible day.
