Additional Information

Jaipur, renowned for its grand Royal Palaces and Forts, is also home to few extraordinary monuments that merit recognition in travel guides.

During this tour, we’ve selected three particularly intriguing and vibrant monuments, guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.

The first monument, Chand Baroi, boasts the title of one of the world’s deepest and largest stepwells. With a depth of 64 feet—equivalent to 13 floors—it features over 3500 steps. Built in the 9th century primarily for water harvesting, Chand Baroi provides exceptional photographic opportunities.

The next monument, Bhangarh Fort, is notorious for its reported paranormal activities. These eerie events are mainly noted after nightfall. Hence, access to the haunted precincts of Bhangarh Fort is prohibited before sunrise and after sunset.

The final destination is a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, and home to hundreds of freewill-residing monkeys. Nestling among valleys, the temple complex lures monkeys from its neighbouring forests.
