- Abu Simbel Temple Complex - We depart from Aswan early in the morning, approximately at 6:30 am. This timing ensures a serene and exclusive experience. Following this, you’ll be accompanied by one of our knowledgeable Egyptologist guides and given some leisure time before making the journey back to Aswan (the drive is about 3 hours each way, with an estimated 2 hours spent at the temples). The temples at Abu Simbel, constructed by Ramses II, are among Egypt’s most remarkable attractions and come with an intriguing backstory as well as their monumental scale. Due to the creation of Lake Nasser, the rising waters threatened to engulf several historical sites, with Abu Simbel being the most significant. Consequently, the temple was meticulously deconstructed and reassembled on higher ground, where it currently resides. Today, the temple stands as a symbol of both Ramses II’s legacy and the ancient Egyptians’ extraordinary architectural skill, coupled with contemporary engineering feats. Once your excursion concludes, you will be escorted back to the hotel of your choice.

An unforgettable experience - Thanks to Mohamed for organizing our excursions to Abu Simbel, Philae and Karnak at the last minute. And especially our 2 nights in a felucca which corresponded perfectly to what we expected! We return to France with a head full of memories and just one desire: to come back!
