Great Ghana an experience of a lifetime. - We had wonderful hotels, an Amazing Guide (Nii Solomon), along with a well organized schedule of touring. The balance of historical, cultural and shopping filled each day. We could have had a few more cooked vegetables with our included dinners.

Continental Tours Review. 6 Stars! - I just returned to the States from a 2 week cultural tour in the various regions of Ghana with Continental Tours. We zigged tagged across regions seeing everything from Black Star Square to the Mahpong Science and Research Center. Of course we visited the Slave castles and Slave River. The most important part of the tour was our tour guide George. His knowledge about the history of Ghana is vast. I'm thankful to have had him as a guide. 6 stars!!! !

Is this the tour for you? Yes Please! - This was an excellent and enlightening tour. Our tour guide, Joshua was knowledgeable, welcoming, and helpful. He answered any questions we had and taught us more about Ghanaian culture, customs, and history. Our driver, Eric, was also hospitable and helped us navigate the markets/shops. I would HIGHLY recommend this experience because Joshua and Eric will make sure you’ll have some unforgettable memories.

Ask for Joshua - Joshua was an amazing tour guide, expediter, ambassador, and friend. Could not have asked for a better guide. He spent a ton of energy getting us acclimated and accommodated even the most absurd requests. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Amazing historical experience. I felt a connection to the land. - The tours and activities we took part in were educational and enjoyable. Our tour guide Nee was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our driver got us to each destination safely. The only part that could be improved was the food. We had the same kind of food most nights. A lot of it was spicy and I don't like spicy food.

Traveling Ivies trip to Ghana - The trip was planned by Tranquility Hill and the on site support was provided by Continental Tours. It is unclear whether the travel agent did an insufficient job of explaining the makeup of the group or abdicated responsibility to Continental Tours for planning this trip. While the sites visited were memorable and historical, the trip was too strenuous and did not have appropriate stops for a group of primarily 60+ upper class African American Women. “The Traveling Ivies” led by Leah Hill will not be on my list of groups to travel with in the future.
