- Poliegos - Its name means “many goats”, since it is inhabited only by goats. It has however some magnificent beaches as well as many sea-surface caves
- Kleftiko Beach - Kleftiko - the old pirates-lair! This unique complex of white and grey rocks that form arches and caves, in combination with the crystalline emerald green and turquoise waters is one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Snorkeling here is an amazing experience…

We unfurl the sails, and to our left Kimolos island emerges. Our initial stop for a swim is the breathtaking island of Poliegos, renowned for its crystal-clear waters. We then navigate to the south-eastern part of Milos island, which serves also as our subsequent swimming halt at the multicoloured beach of Firligos. Our voyage continues with a swimming break at the impressive secluded beach of Gerakas, also known as ‘Ammotsoulithres’.
Next, we drop anchor at the famously historic pirate bay, Kleftiko. We plunge straight into swimming and uncovering the multitude of underwater caves.
On our way back, we admire the awe-inspiring sights along the western coast of the island (Sykia, Agios Ioannis, Triades, Agathia, and Cape Vani). Additionally, we cruise near Arkoudes, an intriguing cluster of volcanic rocks. We then pass by the quixotic fishing hamlets of Skinopi, Klima, Areti and Fourkovouni, distinguished by their vibrantly coloured waterside abodes – locally referred to as ‘sirmata’.
