Excellent for a day tour! - I had an excellent time with Aspire — I appreciated their flexibility after a delayed flight and jet lag; I really learned a lot from the museum visit. I found the trip to Entoto park a lot of fun! As a solo woman, I was always made to feel safe. I liked the food options too!

Great intro to the highlights of Addis - Five star tour.Started with our guide Addis, who picked us up on time. Genuinely friendly and easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable.Whilst we could have done this tour alone, having a guide brought life to the sights. Was not the scripted patter I have often seen elsewhere. We were not rushed. Addis seemed genuinely keen to show us some of the stuff in his city The national museum was a lot better than I was expecting from the photos on the net. It wasn't overdone, yet picked the items which covered a lot of history salient to the region. Mt Entoto gave us a great view of the city and a rough idea of how big it is. Experience added to with a cup of coffee and a coffee ceremony. I did not realise how big the mercado was, but interesting view of society in Addis.People watching, the colours and variety available was worth seeing. The tour finished with a short stop at the original Tomoco and a cafe au lait which was head and shoulders better than anything I have ever had at home. Would be happy to recommend this tour and this guide.

Excellent intro tour to Addis Ababa! - I arrived early morning in Addis on a Sunday and wanted an intro tour of the city that started in the afternoon so I called Aspire Ethiopia tours and spoke with Gashaw. He was friendly and punctual and came to pick me up at the hotel. As a woman solo traveler, it was important to feel comfortable and safe and Gashaw from the beginning made me feel both those things. We first stopped at the National Museum and from the very beginning it was clear that he loves what he does, he is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Ethiopia and it was amazing having a private guide walk you through the museum and give you interesting bits of information. We then went to St. George’s Cathedral and to Entoto Mountain, where you get a beautiful bird’s eye view of the city, and then went to one of the oldest coffee houses, had a delicious coffee, and drove through the market and other significant monuments. Gashaw is not only an amazing tour guide, he is also one of those lovable and genuine people that you want as a friend and I am sure that the rest of his team are as well. If you’re in Addis and want an intro to the city, or are interested in other types of day tours, whatever you may want, do not hesitate to call Aspire Ethiopia Tours. This is a local business with genuine and passionate tour guides that will ensure you leave loving Ethiopia as much as they do.

Addis tour truly guaranteed in half a day - Explored all of Addis with a really friendly tour guide, ‘Gasho’. From the moment we met, he constantly talked about the interesting and culturally-rich history of Ethiopia. We started at the national museum and then headed to an orthodox like church. We also went to the mountains and along the way Gasho explained different landmarks in incredible detail. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Visiting the city - I was a few days in Addis-Abeba for work and had the chance to do this tour with Gashu. From the National Museum of Ehtiopia, to some selected coffees and the mercato, the tour was diverse and always very interesting. Gashu knows everything about the city and particularly all the major events that shaped this several milennia old civilization. Thanks for the tour, Raphaël
