Great fun, views and knowledge while driving side by side up a mountain - had a great time, guided tour up to a waterfall, maybe 1 hour and down, makes a couple stops along way. Guide Reilly very knowledgeable, taught lots about the plants, trees, etc.. Had us eating the berries. Kart are nice, we had a beautiful day so didn't need the provided raincoat or overalls. Recommend bring: waterproof shoes/boots, sunglasses and gloves if cold/rainy. You will get a little dirty, nice clean port-johns available. Would definitely do again

Had a great time - The guides were knowledgeable and explained everything clearly and the carts were well kept. The ride was just enough time to enjoy before it became too much.

Fun time for all - Family had a very enjoyable time! The instructor was knowledgeable about the history of the area!! We took wonderful pictures and the ride wasn’t as bumpy as we thought it would be! We recommend this excursion !

Super Fun Excursion - We booked this excursion through Celebrity cruises on our recent cruise tour. Super fun excursion. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. They had someone on the trails taking pictures and you have the opportunity to purchase a flash drive of the pictures for $20. We did so and there were about 5 pictures of us. We had a great time and recommend this excursion.

Best excursion experience! - We had so much fun on this excursion! It was a highlight of our trip to Alaska. The guides Dagan and Riley made the experience even more fun, and we really enjoyed learning about local plants, animals, and customs during our breaks. The drive was exciting and. Very muddy—which made it that much better! 10/10 recommend this for couples, friend groups, or families!

ATV Karts- Would Not Recommend - Our adventure kart excursion was hugely disappointing. It felt like a major waste of time and money. At over $200 a person, quite frankly, I felt ripped off. The tour consisted of a 20 minute van ride to the outfit where the driver didnt utter a word, fill out forms, get in your ATVs and then ride down a very monotonous road for 40 minutes. There was no interesting scenery on the ATV ride and frankly the ATVs themselves were boring. We stopped at one scenic look out, where I missed half of the presentation by the guides because I didn't realize they were even addressing us. Then we had a second stop where we learned a bit about different types of vegetation before heading back on the same 40 minute road to get back. I would have rather taken my time in the town of Ketchikan than shell out 1,000 for a family of 4 for this trip. Our guides were nice, but I would not recommend.

Get organized! - We were here on an excursion from a cruise. I have to say - it was disappointing because of the disorganization from the start. The people who were in charge were very lackadaisical when we arrived - not at all a welcoming feeling. It took a very long time for them to organize getting the waivers signed with only a couple of i-pads being handed around and them pointing to a QR code and asking us to use that method instead. One of the carts needed to be replaced because it wouldn't start (could they not have checked all that ahead of time?). The carts were not in great condition with tears in the seats, etc. When we finally got moving, it was fun to ride but really noisy!! You don't have to worry about coming upon wildlife! On the whole - this seemed like a waste of our time and money.

Skip it. - Staff was nice, Karts are uncomfortable, poorly suspended, and underpowered. They pitch seeing wild life , but staff was honest that it’s highly unlikely. Path traveled was gravel logging road that could have been traveled by 2 wheel drive car, more comfortably at that. Any of the more readily available side by sides (Polaris General, Honda Pioneer, etc) would be far superior to Tomcars.

Anticlimactic - The shuttle driver and guides were great, the tour itself was anticlimactic and overpriced. The tour takes you up a dirt forest service road to a view and then to a tiny rain fed waterfall. I wish we had heeded other reviews and chosen something else.
