Highlights
  • Three Sisters - The Three Sisters Day Tour showcases the best of Cape Chignecto through an impressive kayaking journey. Each leg of the paddle lasts approximately 1.5 hours, with a delightful picnic break in the middle. At our Advocate Harbour office, our amiable team will equip you with all the necessary gear for your kayaking excursion. You’ll then take a 30-minute drive in your own car to the starting point on a secluded beach, where our certified and engaging guides will greet you. Following a brief on-beach tutorial, we’ll set off to glide past the awe-inspiring, vibrant cliffs at a comfortable pace, as your guides snap photos and share captivating stories about the area’s rich geological features and the Mi’kmaq people, whose history is echoed in the local place names. The tour’s standout experiences include kayaking through a natural arch and past the iconic Three Sisters rock formations (accessible during high tide paddles; during low tide, you’ll have the chance to walk on the ocean floor). After paddling for around 1.5 hours, we’ll stop at a picturesque cove for a homemade picnic that consistently earns high praise from our guests. Following a period of leisure and exploration, we’ll return with the outgoing tide, marveling at the ever-changing landscape.

Three Sisters Kayak Trip - This trip was so well organized…the owners and the guide were thorough with the trip prep. We felt prepared and comfortable with our amazing guide. He was so knowledgeable about the bay, our route and kayaking in general. We enjoyed a wonderful, homemade picnic lunch and Ann offered us gluten free items as well. The route and the stops on the trip were just stunning…and our guide was relaxed and funny and just allowed us to enjoy the amazing beauty around us. We would come back again if we find ourselves near Advocate Bay! We highly recommend Nova Shores!

Amazing experience! - We went on a low tide tour. Truly amazing! We were looking up at cliff and rock formations on the way back that we paddled through on the way out. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable. The NovaShores' people were super helpful in getting us ready. Highly recommend the tour. Best way to experience the Bay of Fundy.

Amazing day on the Bay of Fundy - A great day on the water. Our guide Curtis was excellent - very helpful, friendly and knew lots about the area. Hayley did a great job arranging the trip and was a real pleasure to talk to.

Great Paddle with Nova Shores Adventures - I loved this tour-it's been a Bucker List thing for quite a while. Emmet was a great guide and the lunch was lovely. I scanned though some of the other comments and may I just say-I've lived in Nova scotia all my life and paddling in Florida is NOT the same as paddling the Bay of Fundy. Great time <3

Peaceful kayak trip - A sweet wee trip around Cape Chignecto enhanced by Curtis our guide. He was knowledgeable and really helpful with finding out odd facts such as if the beach pea was native or not. And I so enjoyed having the healthy meals presented beautifully each day, on a gingham mat! The scenary was worth absorbing at the liesurely paddle pace, & some fun weaving amongst the rocks. Kayaks stable and operated well. Even some wildlife encounters. A non threatening kayak trip much enjoyed away from the hustle of the traveller routine.

A great day on the water for novice paddlers - We paddled as a family with young adults and teens and had a great day! The weather and seas were gorgeous and we had leisurely paddle with just the right amount of commentary from our guide Janna. The cliffs and rock formations are so unique and fun to see and learn at the same time. Lunch was tasty and just a really great day. Definitely high tide is the time to go if you can and then you get really close to the rock formations. Some in our party were fairly new to paddling and did really well.

Beautiful and Relaxing Paddle- Excellent Views! - We had a great trip and appreciated that Hayley gave us a text a few days before our scheduled tour with the option to rebook due to the weather. We were able to go a day earlier and the conditions were perfect! Directions to launch point were very detailed and helpful and the guide Damien was great. Lunch at the beach was delicious as was the quick swim before getting back in our boats :) The only thing we’d like to see is a slightly longer paddle. The distance was rather short and slow. That being said the surroundings were beautiful and we learned a lot about the area. Hope to return for an overnight trip!

A wonderful day! - We did this half-day tour on a beautiful day in mid-August. Our guide Damien was waiting for us on the beach with our kayaks ready to take to the sea. Installed in our double kayaks, we followed the magnificent coast, at our own pace, benefiting from the information that our guide gave us and also the answers to our numerous questions. questions. After an excellent salad enjoyed on a beach where we had landed, we returned to sea, for a return trip as pleasant as the outward journey. A big thank you to Damien who made this excursion very pleasant for us. In addition to being very friendly, his knowledge of geology, marine nature and Nova Scotia made this enriching experience. I recommend without hesitation!
