With stunning natural landscaping, it’s a hotspot for fun activities. Enjoy boat cruises on the Volta Lake, views of various islands, the famous Adomi Bridge, and visits to local fishing communities for sightseeing.
Adomi Bridge - The Adomi Bridge is one of the longest suspension bridges in Africa, connecting the Eastern Region to the Volta Region of Ghana. It’s an amazing structure with a specific spot to view the entire town of Akosombo.
Akuse - Akuse is a farming community well-known for its fruit and vegetable farming. We will stop at the junction for some fresh fruit snacks.
Shai Hills Resource Reserve - The Animal Museum, where we learn about animals, see their skeletons, and understand how the people of Shai migrated to the reserve.
