Great value tour - recommend this company! - A great introduction to the island of Odysseus. Vanna, our guide, was very informative and passionate about her island and it's hero, exciting all the tales as George guided us through the twisty bends. Amazing scenery, even more dramatic than Kefalonia. Kioni was lovely but would have liked a bit less time there and more at Stavros. There are a couple of small Homeric museums worth seeing that were overlooked. All considered, another great tour from Avgerinos. I found you can book direct from their website and save a few Euros!

What a Fantastic Day out in Ithaca - We picked up early from Lassi at 7am prompt and we were greeted by Vanna our guide and Georgio our amazing driving. From the start we new we had picked the best trip to go with. We were welcomed straight away by both our guides and popped straight into our seats and our tour started with information delivered with excellent local knowledge but mostly humour too by passionate Vanna's enthusiasm as we went on our way to the ferry boat in Sami. Our cruise over to Ithaca was smooth and the ferry boat had fab coffee and excellent toilet facilities on board !!! Vanna and and Georgio were on hand answering our questions from everyone, as soon as we arrived on the island and the proper tour started OMG tight vertical turns almost, executed beautifully by an excellent driver clearly with lots of experience and along with Vanna's tales of the mystical island it's history and it's beauty we were taken back in time what a fab experience and a great day out I would recommend Avgerinos Tours definitely especially as the other tour operators held Vanna and Georgio in such high esteemed.

A splendid Sunday discovering Ithaca - Just a stone's throw from our apartment in Lassi there was an agency office so, together with a couple of friends we met on the island, we booked an excursion to Ithaca. A minibus picked us up from our apartment at 7am and transferred us to Sami, where we boarded the ferry. Once we arrived in Ithaca, we got on another bus that took us to discover the island.... absolutely wonderful!!! We really had a beautiful day. Congratulations to the guide, the impeccable organization, the drivers... 😃

The nicest way to discover itaca. - Discovering itaca with Vanna was an absolute pleasure. The whole excursion was very well organised and Vanna gave us lots of details about the island, the history and much more. It's a lovely alternative to a boat tour and an occasion to explore the island itself from inside. Vanna is a professional, friendly and unique guide. Absolutely recommended.

Ithaca, amazing - This was a fantastic trip, perfectly organised and well looked after by our tour guide, who was very knowledgeable. Ithaca is stunning and the stops we made were perfect. We learned a lot about the history of the island and Odysseus, very informative and interesting. Great food in the village we stopped for lunch and a swim in the sea to cool off! My only comment would be perhaps have some water on the bad as it got very, very hot. A great trip and we’ll worth it!

Ithaca - Fantastic day trip from Lassi by road and ferry to Ithaca last Sunday. Our Excellent tour guide Vanna was very informative and knowledgeable and nothing was to much trouble. The driver was excellent 👌 The stops were of a good length and were able to see a great deal without being rushed.. Breathtaking views and history is amazing . Thanks again Vanna for an excellent day. I have already booked another trip this week for Kefalonia North as this trip was fantastic Thanks so much for a fantastic day

The highlight of our trip! Thanks Vanna - Vanna was the perfect tour guide! And Kotatas safely drove us up the tightly wound up mountain lanes, as Vanna told us of the history and of all the surroundings. It was an amazing day and well structured with great break times to make the most out of the day. Definitely recommend this tour and worth every Euro.

Wonderful Ithaca - This was a fantastic trip. It is a must to travel on the island and the best way is with a great guide and driver and we had the best in Vanna and George. Vanna is such a lovely lady and not only was she full of information but she was attentive to each guests needs. George, wow what a driver on those narrow and windy roads. The island is just beautiful, fantastic scenery and a perfect lunch stop right on the sea front. We couldn’t fault it and highly recommend this trip.

Stunning place, recommended, great price. - Took a tour to Ithaca and picked up from hotel. All on time bar ferry, not the companies fault but all timings during the tour were great and not rushed. Good commentary from guide, very informative and enjoyed learning more about the place. Absolutely stunning views. Really enjoyed the tour day. Highlight was the rovani dessert from cafe in the last stop recommended by the guide who also got us some to take back to the hotel, didn't last long. Having to be gluten free I could have the lovely pastries so this was a real treat and soooo good, have it with scoop ice cream.... Wow. Cant recommend this tour enough. Great day. Much thanks to the tour guide and our faithful driver, don't know how you manage those roads!

Fascinating & full-on! - Impressive handling of coach by driver. Interesting & informative dialogue by tour leader. Picturesque, beautiful towns we would have struggled to find ourselves, not to mention driving by car! The only improvement would be the width of the coach seats very minimal - we’re not big people, but found it quite uncomfortable, especially in the heat! Having said that, I guess wider coaches could make for more difficult driving on the little mountain roads!
