- Agra Fort Railway Station - Agra Fort Railway Station is among the busiest and one of the earliest electrified railway stations in India. The station’s unique red and white exterior, featuring intricate arches and domes, showcases the Mughal influence on the city’s architecture.
- Jama Masjid - The tour begins at the Agra Fort parking lot, where guests board electric rickshaws to the old Agra bazaar. Our first stop is the magnificent Shahi Jama Masjid.
A royal mosque, Shahi Jama Masjid was constructed by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in honor of his favorite daughter, Jahanara Begum.
- Chimman Lal Puri Wale - Our next stop is the iconic Chimman Lal Puri Wale, a 180-year-old shop. Operated by the sixth generation of the same family, the shop is renowned for its delicious Indian delicacies and is a favorite spot for travelers coming from Agra Fort Railway Station.
- Agra - We then introduce you to a Betel leaf shop, where paan—a preparation combining betel leaf with areca nut—is sold. It is chewed for its stimulating and psychoactive effects. The old Agra bazaar has been famous for its paan leaf auctions since the Mughal era.
- Shri Mankameshwar Mandir - Mankameshwar Mandir is one of the oldest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The shivlinga, covered in silver, is believed to have been established by Lord Shiva himself. Twenty-one akhand jyoti are lit daily.
- Agra - The Radha Mohan Temple is renowned for its intricately carved musician’s balcony. Built by Mohan Lal in 1880.
- Rawatpara - Rawatpara Spice Market is a 400-year-old market established by the Mughal emperors to meet the spice needs of the fort.
- Lohar Gali - Lohar Gali is a bustling street with vendors selling a variety of items, most notably bangles.
From here, the walking part of the tour concludes, and we return to the parking lot in electric rickshaws.
- Gyarah Sidi - From the Agra Fort parking lot, we get into cars and head to Gyarah Sidi (Eleven Steps), where you can see the remains of the astrological observatory of Mughal emperor Humayun.
The tour concludes at the Taj View Point, one of the best spots in the city to view and photograph the stunning Taj Mahal.
