Handunugoda Tea Estate - Nestled in the foothills of Ahangama, the renowned Virgin White Tea Factory, Handunugoda, stands out. Celebrated for producing luxury teas, Handunugoda is famed for its Signature Virgin White and other award-winning varieties like Ceylon Souchong, Sapphire Oolong, and Flowery Camellia. These teas are exclusively crafted and handmade by the proprietor, Herman Gunaratne, using traditional orthodox methods to create exquisite whole-leaf teas that can be brewed multiple times.

Galle Fort Lighthouse - Also known as the Dutch Fort, the Galle Fort is a fortification initially constructed by the Portuguese on Sri Lanka’s Southwestern coast. UNESCO recognized the site as a World Heritage Site for its unique representation of an urban ensemble illustrating the interaction between European architecture and South Asian traditions from the 16th to the 19th centuries, meeting criterion number four for such recognition.
