- Haslewood Island - Discover Chalkies Beach and the new lookout over Coral reefs.
- Chalkie’s Beach - Known to locals as Whitehaven’s little brother, Chalkies beach is directly across from Whitehaven Beach on Haslewood Island and has the same sand as Whitehaven Beach. This is where we snorkel 80% of the time, if you do not wish to snorkel you can spend the time on the beach and exploring the lookout over coral reefs (see pictures)
- Coral Sea Marina - This is the start and return point of the day tour. ZigZag Whitsundays Day Tour meets at meeting point B. Car parking is an extra cost (pay and display)

Every day, the ZigZag Whitsundays Day Tour commences from Coral Sea Marina, situated in Airlie Beach Queensland 4802. On this tour, the boat, which comfortably seats a maximum of 30 passengers, sets out to explore several locations including Whitehaven Beach, South Whitehaven Beach, Chalkies Beach, and the Haslewood Island Lookout (with a view over coral reefs), also incorporating one snorkeling location.
The ZigZag Whitsundays vessel is an open, fast boat (1200HP) that features a shade-providing roof and is unique in its offering of high-back padded seats. This new addition ensures a smooth journey for all occupants, minimising seasickness and maximising comfort and safety - it’s catered to tourists of varying ages and adventure experiences.
Onboard, you’ll have the chance to snorkel in bays abundant with coral and tropical fish - keep an eyes open for a turtle!

For the location use Google Maps and search "ZigZag Whitsundays".
Meeting point is at end of Shingly drive by the roundabout. Look for white umbrellas and a small cafe. Our crew will be opposite the cafe at 7.45 am with a ZigZag Sign.

Great day out on the water. - Fabulous day out, great scenery, whales, good snorkelling. Really friendly crew. We had a great time, would recommend this trip!

If you are going to book a boat trip - this is the one you want! - Excellent trip from start to finish. Boat ride was fun, snorkelling was beautiful and the beach was lovely. Great staff made the trip memorable - small family run business so they really care about you having a good time.

The Best Day! - Had an amazing day out with ZigZag Whitsundays.Angus,Ben and Captain Kacey looked after us all so well and were all so friendly,helpful and informative.
Checked out a number of different Whitsunday trips but was drawn to this one as it had everything we were looking for and all the positive reviews are not only accurate but well deserved.We all really felt like our enjoyment was most important to them.The attention to detail was second to none and the little things do make a difference.Just knowing that there would be photos we could access and look at afterwards free of charge was amazing!Everything you needed for your day was provided,even a marine jacket for the boat ride if you needed it!
A brilliant day from start to finish and so glad we picked ZigZag,I'd pick them again and again.Theyve defo got the right idea!!

Beautiful places and people - Start to finish, this tour was stunning. The Port at Airlie is gorgeous, the coral reefs were breathtaking and the islands/beaches are some of the best in the world. The crew were lovely and helpful. The food was excellent and they actually do cater for dietary requirements (gf + df in my case). So much effort and attention to detail went in considering it's a family owned single-boat tour company. I personally chose this tour because wetsuits/snorkeling gear was included in the price, and I'm glad I did! Highly recommend.

AWESOME day trip! - My friend and I had an awesome day with the zigzag crew. Boat ride around the islands was super fun and we were still smiling despite the rain! Beach was great and we were there for the perfect amount of time. Delish lunch and the reef snorkelling was INCREDIBLE. Would highly recommend this friendly crew. Great day trip for anyone wanting to have an action packed day. 5*s from us.

Fabulous! - Fabulous team took us to quieter sites having look outs and beaches to ourselves quite often. Food excellent and plenty of it. We even got the bonus of seeing a turtle! Wonderful day all round.

Highly recommend - Fantastic day out with Fiona, Casey and Lydia. They seemed to find quiet sites so even the look outs and snorkelling we were the only group there. Food and snacks were great and plenty of it. We had the bonus of seeing a turtle too 😊. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Beach Great Tour - What an amazing Beach the sand was so white. Bit windy the day we went which made it a little unpleasant but would have missed it.

Overall a Fun Day but Dirty Rash Guard (Sea Lice) - Overall the day was fun. The rash guard provided was dank (smelled bad) and wasn't clean. Immediately after putting it on before swimming, I felt something biting me. Sea lice. Super itchy and unpleasant. The only spots that had bites were in the area of the rash guard, so no they weren't in the water on the day we went in. Do better with cleaning your gear please. Overall a fun day.
