Highlights
  • Chateauneuf-du-Pape - On this full day journey, depart for the famous Chateauneuf du Pape vineyard.
As you reach this historic wine producing region (planted by the Romans during the 14th century), discover the village & its ancient castle that was the summer residence of the Pope’s during their stay in the area and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view on the valley.
During the morning, you will visit and taste local wines in a carefully selected winery. At lunch, your guide will suggest different local options.
After lunch, experience your second Chateauneuf du Pape winery tour. In each winery of the day, you will first be introduced to the estate and its history. Then, your visit will focus on the wine making process and the visit of the technical installations. The local wines are well known for their full bodied red wines made predominantly with different grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, typical local grapes in south of France.

Small group with quality content and lots of time - We had an incredible time with our guide Camille, who was very knowledgeable, warm and funny. It was an intimate, small group and we had plenty of time at each vineyard to talk, ask questions and taste a lot of wine! Transport and logistics went smoothly and the vineyard tours were of fantastic quality and content.

Excellent quick wine trip in Aix - We had a wonderful time with our guide, Lucille. She was so nice, easy to talk to, loved a good laugh and was beyond knowledgable. She obviously knows the vineyards and the teams working on them well, as they all seemed like old friends, which made the tastings relaxed and enjoyable. The selections we tasted were all so different and amazing, a really great variety! Would highly recommend!

Great way to spend an afternoon in Provence! - Our tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable, easy to understand, and drove us safely to our tour locations. We were introduced to several wines of the region, given some of the history of the estates, got to taste them and had the opportunity to purchase the bottles we wanted. It was a great way to spend an afternoon as a group.

Spend a great afternoon around Aix - A fantastic tour of two wineries - one small family owned establishment (7th generation!) and a larger Chateau. Tomas was our guide, spoke great English. Was knowledgeable and even helped translate or add in interesting anecdotes at the wineries. Excellent wines. The bus was well air conditioned and comfortable despite peak summer heat.

Delicious rose - The view and scenery were beautiful. It was great that it was a short trip with two vineyard trips. The first vineyard was my favorite and had delicious rose wine and a variety of selection tastings as well. The second vineyard had smaller samples. The guide was very knowledgable as well as the representative/vineyard person. They talked us through the history and wine making process.

YES, without hesitation - Short guided tour with the very interesting owner. Tasting of a few products (a white, a rosé, 2 reds) with Quebec cheeses and fresh bread.

Half Day Wine Tour - Our guide Tomas was excellent and incredibly knowledgeable. The first family owned winery was really interesting to learn about. I wish the second one was done more like the first. And it was a little weird we had to share our tasting with one other person and didn’t get our own glasses. But all in all, a great half day experience if you’re in Aix!
