Highlights
 • Akrotiri Archaeological Site - Uncover the myths and history of Santorini on a 5-hour guided tour of the Akrotiri excavations, a prehistoric Bronze Age city. During the Minoan volcanic eruption some 3,600 years ago the city was frozen in time by ash that fell. Some speculate that this is the origin of Atlantis, a mythical city lost in time.

Admire the elaborate drainage system, the sophisticated multi-storied buildings, their magnificent wall paintings, excavated furniture and vessels that show the former settlement’s great prosperity. Discover evidence of winemaking that has been estimated to date back to the 3rd Millennium BC, making Santorini one of the oldest winemaking regions in the world.

Continue your wine discovery by strolling through the island’s basket vines at 3 wineries and learn about Santorini’s unique viticulture traditions. Taste a selection of 13 different wine styles from across Santorini and Greece, such as Assyrtiko, Nykteri, and the sublimely sweet Vinsanto wine.

 • Estate Argyros - Visit estate Argyros and taste 4 different glass of wines with an appetizer from Santorini.
 • Anhydrous Winery - Visit Avantis winery and taste 4 different glasses of Santorini’s wine.
 • Venetsanos Winery - Visit Venetsanos winery and taste 5 different glasses of Santorini’s wine.

Amazing, fun evening with unexpected stops - Fotios Tsevas, our driver, made our evening magical. We booked small group wine tasting but ended up being a private tour. We visited 3 wineries with lots of cheese, olives, bread platters and 14 tastings. Fotios made the trip special by taking us to a viewpoint, the highest point on the island (monastery) before the wineries and after took us to a viewpoint to watch the sunset. Highly recommend!

Awesome tour with an exceptional tour guide! - I cannot recommend this tour or our tour guide, Mary, enough. The tour was the perfect balance of local history and culture, and delicious wine. Mary was so knowledgeable and passionate about Santorini; it made our day with her informative, engaging and incredibly fun. We had a fabulous day and would absolutely recommend you spend a day with Mary on your next trip to Santorini! (I will be back whenever she offers a Local Cats of Santorini tour :) )

The tour was nice and our driver and... -
The tour was nice and our driver and his vehicle were very good. However, as someone coming on to the island by way of a cruise ship, I cannot over state my disappointment, frustration and out right anger in the process of taking the cable car up to Fira to meet the driver. The return process back down the cable car to return to the ships tenders, was even worse. The process took just shy of 90 minutes. Clearly, the cruise ship organizers and the Santorini officials do not care or they would review the situation and implement changes. If you are considering a trip to this island via a cruise ship, think twice!
