Discover the breathtaking humpbacks within the Eyjafjord as you cruise on our cozy sightseeing vessel. This whale watching journey, geared for families and providing excellent value, runs as many as 4 times daily from Akureyri in Northern Iceland.

- Please note that weather in Iceland is unpredictable and that the tour can be cancelled on short notice due to unfavourable conditions at sea.
- This is a wildlife tour and therefore sightings cannot be guaranteed. In case of no sightings, we offer the opportunity to try again for free.
- We abide by a code of conduct for responsible whale watching, which means that all sightings are on the wildlife’s terms. We can therefore never guarantee up close encounters.
- Please note that our fleet is not completely wheelchair accessible as there are steep stairs between lower and upper decks and high thresholds to get from the decks into the saloon as well as from the saloon to the toilets.
- Wheelchair users are welcome to bring a foldable chair onboard our bigger boats, but if possible, please advise our office prior to departure as we may need to assist with boarding.

Awesome Whale Watching experience - The tour delivered on see whales! Great experience, great guides. It didn't matter where in the boat you were located - you could see whales.

Whale of a time - An amazing experience in this tour we saw harbour porpoise, minke and humpback multiple times, smooth cruise throughout and amazing views.

Elding Whale Watching - The Reason Why They’re #1 - Highly recommend Elding! In fact just did to some other American travelers that we met this morning although not surprising they’d already heard of this well regarded tour operator. The German guide (Jacob?) spoke perfect English and did a fantastic job from beginning to end narrating educational facts about what we hoped to see. Ship was great and in perfect condition. Very well maintained, comfortable seats inside with a little coffee/drinks bar. Saw Pilot, Minke and Humpback whales as well as porpoises. Super enjoyable 3 hour excursion. In addition this company makes all their professionally taken images (you are not going to do better so put your phones and cameras away and just enjoy the sightings!) available free of charge. How nice is that???

We saw Whales! - A well established & organised tour. The guide was very enthusiastic & knowledgeable about whales providing an informative & understandable commentary. We were so lucky to see both Minky & Hunpback whales. I would highly recommend taking this tour.

Great! - Had a great time. Even tho the weather wasn't the greatest we still saw 2 whales and some porpoises. Crew was knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

An excellent experience - It was a fantastic experience! We saw a lot of whales, there was a moment when it was possible to see 6 or 7 different humpback whales around the boat while they were feeding. Some of them passed really close to the ship. We went with a 4-year-old child who loved being able to see them. During the duration of the tour it is possible to serve yourself hot chocolate or coffee to warm up since it is cold outside the boat. 100% recommendable!

Humpback whales - Appreciated the care crew exhibited towards whales. Boat carried more passengers than I prefer for this type of tour but even so , felt we had ample opportunity to observe whales in their environment.

Amazing experience - I really loved the tour amd the stuff that took care of us :). We wore comfy and warm overalls, borrowed glasses and gloves and than we experienced fast ride on a speed boat and saw few humoback whales. Thank you again!

Beware ! - The whale watching trip was good guides were wonderful but we would not have booked had we known there was a cruise ship in port booking at the same time, boat was really overcrowded and did not enjoy the trip as we could have! Reminder, check for cruise boats in port !!!!!
