Poor organisation and communication from company - not worth money - The sights were very interesting, driver was polite and very informative. The museum was very interesting. The abandoned village not really worth it - just a bunch of ruins. This tour is not worth the price. We were seemingly forgotten about as no one came to collect us and then lied to by the tour company. There was no communication to say they were late and when we contacted them they couldn't find our booking. We were then told 10 mins - this was almost 30 mins after the pick up time. We were then contacted by the driver who informed us he was just given our tour and would be there in 30 mins or an hour late. I contacted the company again to confirm is it 10 mins or 30 and that I was not happy to be kept waiting, we had rushed our breakfast to be on time. I was dismissed by the company and told no problem we would have a good time. The driver upon arrival then advised there were issues with another driver's vehicle. I am not sure what the truth is but I should have been told the truth not a bunch of lies. We were not given any compensation for having to wait an hour for the tour. I am not sure if the driver then felt he needed to make up time but he was speeding alot. We felt that it may be usual driving practice in Qatar but we were not comfortable with the speed, there was much use of mobile phone while driving at speed and no one seems to stay in their lane while driving.
