Highlights
  • Giza Plateau - Explore the Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Visit the Valley Temple where King Chephren’s body was mummified, and get a close-up view of The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren.
  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was connected to a causeway, largely destroyed during the village’s construction.
  • Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, discovered in a well by Mariette in 1860 and during later excavations by Sieglin, Junker, and Reisner.
  • Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex comprises a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added. The mortuary temple also yielded several statues of Menkaure.
  • Great Sphinx - The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, stands by the vast funeral complex.
  • Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Visit Sakkara, located 27 km southwest of Cairo. See the Step Pyramid, built for King Zoser, an important part of the pyramid evolution from simple mastabas to their well-known form.
  • Bent Pyramid - Explore the Dahshur Pyramids, including the Bent and Red Pyramids. Dahshur is a royal necropolis in the desert on the West Bank of the Nile, about 40 km south of Cairo. It is known for some of the oldest, largest, and best-preserved pyramids in Egypt, built between 2613–2589 BCE.
  • Memphis and Sakkara - Visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 B.C.
  • Pyramid of Unas - The Pyramid of Unas, built in the 24th century BC for Pharaoh Unas, is the smallest Old Kingdom pyramid but significant for the discovery of Pyramid Texts. These spells for the king’s afterlife were inscribed in the walls of its subterranean chambers and continued in the pyramids of later rulers and into the Middle Kingdom through the Coffin Texts, forming the basis of the Book of the Dead.
  • Pyramid of Teti - Located in Saqqara, the Pyramid of Teti is an ancient structure built as the final resting place for Pharaoh Teti. It stands as a testament to the architectural prowess of the Old Kingdom and attracts visitors worldwide. Explore its chambers and corridors to uncover the mysteries of ancient Egypt.
  • Mastaba of Ti - The Mastaba of Ti, discovered by Auguste Mariette, is one of Saqqara’s most important archaeological sites. It contains two serdabs, and its walls depict various scenes of everyday life.
  • Khan Al-Khalili - Visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar, known for its numerous shops trading fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and more.

After the tour, we will transfer you back to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.

Wonderful - Sayed Mahmoud gave us a very nice tour. Welcomed us at our place in the morning with water, brought us to the Giza pyramids, and was very informative. He was truly wonderful; he brought us to safe and trustworthy places. Many times we went to shops that showed us how to make carpets or paper which was amazing and there was no pressure to buy. Memphis was also lovely. Car with air conditioner was always readily available so I did not overheat. 5 star. I do recommend.

Great day out at the Pyramids - Hamada Eid & Sayed Mahmud gave us an outstanding day tour of the Giza, Bent & Red Pyramids. Not only was Sayed knowledgable, but he also went out of his way to customise the tour for us. Would recommend him with no reservations

They made Cairo a more enjoyable easy experience - Our skilled driver and knowledgeable guide Mahmoud made my first impression of Cairo exciting. Both driver and guide were so hospitable, generous and good people. Full of energy they showed us every pyramid. locations I have never heard of outside of Cairo. Quiet locations full of history and beauty. Mahmoud really enjoyed teaching us about ancient Egypt and we enjoyed having him. However, they were both hesitant to take us to Khan el Khalili Bazaar. Their mood changed drastically, I assumed they were worried about time. They still took us to the Bazaar and we got a glimpse of it. Unfortunately didn't have time to really enjoy it. Maybe if we didn't agree to see the cartouche and papyrus places we would have more time. We appreciate that they still followed our wishes and got us back to the airport in good time. Without them, Cairo was not fun. When we returned to Cairo another day it was disappointing. This is how I know the tour guide and driver really made our day! I'll defo recommend Emo Tours for Cairo yes! I felt very secure with them and we listened to really nice tunes. They were very patient with me getting my photography work done too. This is a tour I would love to do again :))

Day tour to the pyramids , Sakkara and Memphis - We had a very good day visiting the pyramids of Giza and the sphinx following by Memphis Sakkara. The trip was very informative thanks to our tour guide Mr. Sayed Mahmoud who was requested by us by name before booking thanks to the good reviews we have found about him and that was the best decision made by me and my husband . he was very professional , on time and every thing was as promised . Not to forget the driver Ehab who was making sure all the time that we are comfortable and having a good time . Overall , our experience was one of the best .

It was ok - The service is normal, it is no bad but is also no the best. You can do fun in the tour. The guys are friendly but they want to sell you everything from their friends in the shops. They spoke almost all the time in Arabic, which is totally fine but sometimes you have the sensation that they speak about you. In the end was a great day with them but they practically force you to write a good and excellent comment in TripAdvisor in front of them.

Wont recommend this guide - Our guide was sayed mohamud. From the beginning he told we can take it relaxed tour no hurry. But he began journey on unimportant places and spent much time on memphis. But giza pyramids were last to visit and it was hot like hell bcoz it was late. We shud have began tour from pyramids. He was rushing ys from pyramids only to taje us to his friends shops.. we could have taken good look. He fidnt even let us go near sphinx or pyramids and took all crappy photos and snapped at us to hurry. Driver was good though
