Fun adventure and even better hosts! - This tour was the highlight of my time in Costa Rica! Mario and William were phenomenal hosts! Mario was kind enough to provide a coat since I didn’t have one for the volcano tour. Highly recommend.

Unexpected Best tour ever! - It was a small groups of just ladies and one young boy. I had a blast and so much laughter. And the host Mario made everyone feel like family. The funniest best guide tour ever! I wish I had taken more group pictures on my camera. Just take a mask during the short to see the volcano with the active gases. I would do this trip 💯 again, if I ever visit CR again.

Great Tour! - It was a great tour! Mario was absolutely terrific, friendly and knowledgeable. We had plenty of time in each of the destinations to see what was needed to be seen and time for photos and questions. The one thing I will say that caught me by surprise and should probably be posted in the description is that the pickup is at 6am (quite early). The tour ends around 1pm, due to traffic heading back, you will end up getting back to the hotel around 3-330pm (so nearly 10 hours). Even with the long day, the food was delicious and the company on my tour was fantastic as well. Had a great time!

Wonderful places, well organized tour - It is a good tour of remarkable places. Poas Volcano is the first thing to see around San Jose as I heard from locals. Indeed, the view of long clouds of smoke from fumaroles is stunning. Just remember - you have just 20 min to get your chance, and if the "window" in usual clouds does not open, bad luck. The waterfalls are beautiful and definitely worth seeing. The tour was well organized and the guide was friendly and professional.

Kind of disappointing - The waterfalls were nice and some of the animals at the Peace Falls. The breakfast and lunch were decent (buffet style). We spend a lot of time in the van, which became very tiresome. The coffee plantation tour was minimal and not very informative. The volcano was very misty/smoky so there wasn't much to see (see photo). The Peace day park was kind of a tourist trap with caged animals (most of which had been previously owned) and some nice waterfalls. The group we were in was both spanish and english speakers so anytime the guide spoke everything had to be repeated in each language. This took up a lot of time. There was a large age range and about half the group moved very slowly so it took along time to walk around. I had anticipated being able to walk around on our own at the Peace Falls, but we were kind of stuck with the group so we didn't get to see all the exhibits since the group was so slow. I wouldn't recommend this tour, it was kind of expensive and too "touristy" for my taste.
