A perfect day in the backwaters - I only had 24 hrs in the backwaters and this was a perfect way to experience and get emerged in it. I absolutely loved paddling around the backwaters, observing and interacting with the locals, and taking in the beautiful scenery and seeing incredible birds. My guide was perfect - knowledgeable and friendly. I also really appreciated being able to flex the length of the tour based on my preferences. Another highlight was the incredible lunch cooked and served on route by some locals. It was one of the best meals I had in Kerala. I was glad to meet this tour operator and plan to do a 2 week tour of three southern states with my family.

Great kayaking experience. - Wow, what a brilliant tour. The guides were excellent, very knowledgeable. We saw so many birds, village life and amazing scenery. We were given soft drinks and fresh fruit along the way, and had the most delicious local lunch, and were invited into the home of the restaurant owner and met his wife who had cooked the meal (in her spotlessly clean kitchen). It was very hot so we were given the option of taking a boat back instead of kayaking the last bit, which was lovely. We would definitely recommend this trip, but you need to be fit to go on the day tour, if not, they do a shorter one.

Great and fun guide - Great trip, very friendly and helpful guide who knew the area really well and helped us get to our next destination :) We had the choice to kayak around the island or take a little hike on it. We opted for the second option and he showed us around places around the island one wouldn’t see without a guide.

Happy to kayak in Kerala - We enjoyed ourselves very much with the kayak tour. The guide is very friendly and explained everything very well. We also walked in the island and drunk from a coconut. I van recommend this trip to other tourists.

Experience the magic of Kerala up close - A kayak tour is certainly one of the best options for discovering the magical, peaceful and quiet world of the backwaters. Unlike houseboats, kayaks offer the opportunity to glide through the backwaters on even the smallest canals and thus get to know the tropical flora and fauna as well as the lives of the people up close. Our guide Sujith was simply fantastic. Thank you very much for this great experience!

Must do in Allepey, better than a houseboat Tour - Great experience of kayaking through the backwaters. So peaceful and calm, a great way to experience the waters of Allepey. Sujith was a great host, organised everything very well, and was very informative on the history and culture of Allepey. Highly recommend!

Great cooking class to learn more about Kerala cuisine! - I did the cooking class together with my sister and we had a great afternoon with Sujith and his very welcoming family. The cooking class was in their house, led by Sujith’s wife, who is passionate about cooking, and this showed in the final dishes. Everything was well explained and very tasty in the end! We prepared 9 different items (including main dishes such as Fish Pollichathu, Aviyan, Thoran and Prawns Puttu – for a full description you can find the course in Get Your Guide, called “Alleppey Homely Cooking Tour”). We recommend trying out this course if you have some time in Alleppey!
