Excellent experience of learning about plant life and the environment of Denali on an enjoyable hike. - Our guide, Sam lead us on an unhurried enjoyable walk through the forest showing us plants, trees and animal signs. He gave us so much information about the plants and their uses and the environment of Denali and the cultures that made Denali home. It was so fascinating and fun . Sam tailored our pace and stops just for our group. Northern epics provided trekking piles which were so helpful! Highly recommend this 3 hour hike for all ages!

Fantastic Nature Tour - We had an enjoyable walking tour withTrinidad, our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, informative and personable. It was a great way to spend three hours! A true highlight of our trip to Denali. Go, you won’t regret it!

Great hike in the woods! - A great hike in Denali. Trinidad our guide was super knowledgeable. Stopping to point out plants trees and animal signs. He’s also a great guy. Really friendly Highly recommend this tour.

Very interesting casual walk about Denali and its natural habitat - Northern Epics provides a very casual interesting walk in the woods that leaves you with a much greater knowledge of Denali than you would have otherwise. It is an insightful walk with a very knowledgeable guide who makes the information fun and interesting. Trinidad was our guide and we highly recommend this walk!!

Wonderful and informative foraging tour - Trinidad was our guide and also owns the company that runs this tour. He was so informative and enthusiastic about teaching my husband and I about Denali and its unique features and ecosystems. We learned so much and it was so unique to learn about the individual plants and even taste some of the edible ones. It’s so wonderful to be on a tour where your guide truly loves what they do and teaching others! The hike we did was pretty easy, most people would be able to do it without an issue, and if you need a little help they have trekking poles for you to borrow.

Great guide and tour in beautiful Denali - We were so lucky to have Jason as our guide and to have only my husband and I in the group, so a private tour. We loved having the fauna and geology explained. This will be a great memory of our visit to Denali.

Insightful, fun, must do - First, just book this. Now my thoughts. If you want to spend some time understanding Denali and the ecosystem, plants, animals and perhaps eat some wild cranberries, Northern Epics is brilliant. 110% recommend this to everyone, not too physical, learnt so much and my family had a great time. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, we could have spent 3 more hours with them easily. Did I mention we saw a moose up close!

Best walking tour in Denali! - Our naturalist Sam was an awesome guide!!! He contacted me in advance, he arrived on time, he was ready with equipment if needed. His knowledge of Denali and the vegetation was extensive. He stopped when we needed to rest. We really appreciated that Sam was our guide and teacher.
