Your professional English-speaking tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby to start Start your Alexandria tour fro Cairo by visiting the Pompey’s Pillar, the only remaining pillar from the Roman temple which stands tall on a rocky plateau in the surrounding ruins of the Serapeum, then you will move to the medieval Citadel of Qaitbay. After that, you will visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, These tombs represent the last great existing construction for the sake of the ancient Egyptian religion.
Then we will move to The Bibliotheca of Alexandria. It was founded at the beginning of the 3rd century BC. C. by Ptolomeno I and extended by his son Ptlomeo II, but in later times its importance was diminishing and its collections were lost, due to the changes in power and successive invasions.
Finally, you will enjoy your amazing gourmet Lunch in a high-quality restaurant. Then you will be transferred back to Cairo and you will have a break on the way

Cairo Top Tours - A tour company to recommend - While in Egypt, Cairo Top Tours organized for us two great tours: The day visit to Alexandria and a visit to the Nile's Delta. We did both tours with a private car and also private guide, it was really worth the experience and the learnings. Customer service from Bishoy Habib was great, he did periodically checks by WhatsApp during the tours to make sure everything was going according to plan. At the end of our visit, the same company arranged the transfer from the hotel to Cairo's Airport. I recommend Cairo Top Tours for your tours in Egypt.
