Visit to Cairo - We visited Cairo for 4 days. Marwa accompanied us on a 3 full-day itinerary, based on the sites we wanted to visit in both Cairo and Alexandria. It was a lovely experience. I totally recommend arranging a tour with Marwa. Thank you!!

Marwa on the Mediterranean - fun two night tour!!! - Marwa organised a two day Mediterranean adventure for us in Alexandria. She picked us up from the airport hotel with her driver Mohamed - they could not have been more friendly - smiling and chatting the whole way! In Alexandria, Marwa perfectly organised everything so we could see the sites over two half days balancing the heat, our desire to see all the sites and tiredness (having flown in from London overnight). Marwa took us to see the ancient catacombs, the Roman amphitheatre, the Citadel (and site of the ancient lighthouse), and the King’s Palace. At every site Marwa showed her knowledge as a guide, explaining the intricacies of each site in detail and telling us interesting stories about the history. She was patient with all my questions (many!!!) and spent time trying to find the best times and places for photos which my girlfriend loves taking! In particular we were grateful for Marwa taking us to two fantastic restaurants that we would not have found on our own. One was a refreshing coffee stop on the first afternoon, to a bakery with the most amazing cakes. The second was to a fish restaurant which was so fresh, local and delicious. Marwa had a clear focus on the hygiene of the restaurants and the quality of the food, which was important to those of us with sensitive European stomachs!!

A can't miss tour in Alexandria - Marwa's tour of Alexandria was a great introduction of the city. We started with the catacombs. It was such a cool experience. Marwa taught us all about the Greek art imitating Egyptian art. The Amphitheatre was next. What an incredible experience to walk in such a historic place. The bath house has beautiful in tact mosaics. Then we went to the citadel. Marwa taught us how the mosque was the second oldest in Egypt. She also explained how mosques were not just a place for religion but teachings of all kinds and a community center. We ate lunch at an incredible fish market in the heart of the city. Such a cool experience.
