Brief informative tour with excellent staff - We had only half a day to spare in Alexandria and this tour made sure we see the major monuments along with scrumptious meal at a sea side restaurant within 4-5 hours. Samira (our guide) and Ashraf (our driver) were very warm, friendly and accomodating. We felt safe and taken care of with them during our tour. Best wishes and kindest regards from India.

Great guide for an amazing first day in Alexandria - First of all, everyone needs to spend time in Alexandria when they visit Egypt. This was our favorite city and our guide was amazing. If I remember correctly, his name was Mahmoud. We did everything on the tour and he suggested some extras. These extras did cost a little more, but they really added to the day and were well worth it. We got to do a boat ride in the Mediterranean, which made seeing the Citadel of Qaitbay even better. We also upgraded our lunch to a place with a view of the sea, fresh-caught fish, and fresh shrimp. The catacombs are an unexpected treasure and was a great place to start. At each location, our guide took time with us to explain things but then gave us time to explore on our own. This was a great combination of having someone there to guide you, but also having those more private moments of exploration through various sites. A suggestion that is not on this tour is the Graeco-Roman Museum. Visitors to Alexandria should not miss that museum. We were glad we did the day tour first and the next day that museum. We had the background that we needed.

Great day in Alex - Thank you Mahmoud, always very helpful and excited to be there. My favourite moments were our extensive time in the catacombs. We even managed to arrange a short boat ride by the citadel.

Amazing experience, go for it! - We had a wonderful time in Alexandria with Sayed Mahmoud and Abdullah. Very interesting and funny visit. We even finish the tour having a cup of tea and smoking shisha! I highly recommend if you plan to come visit the city!

Enjoyable and informative - It was an excellent experience overall! I was accompanied by driver Eslam and guide Manan. Eslam was punctual and friendly throughout and thoroughly enjoyed his company. The only point of improvement will be that he was on his phone most of the time and talking while driving and also didn't speak good English, so it was a bit of a challenge. Manan was very friendly and had a lot of knowledge and patience and explained everything in detail. Loved her company, would definitely take another tour if she is the guide. Also helped me find a falafel sandwich though I opted for no food in the tour. Alexandria as a city is a must and is filled with a lot of history and interesting places.

Full day tour became half day? Not impressed. - Unfortunately we feel let down by this tour. What was advertised as approximately 7 hours turned out to be 4.5 hours at best. Very, very, very rushed. Got the impression the guide had somewhere better to be. Also, although the library was closed being a Friday, we were promised on more than two occasions we could get some photos of the outside. When we went zooming past the library I raised this, but was told "no, no, no, we told you, the library is closed today". The guide, while seeming to be very knowledgeable, had problems communicating in English. All in all, not impressed Emo.
