Highlights
  • Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, 49 - If you are a sea lover don’t let the less warm temperature stop your curiosity! For three hours, we search for dolphins. Thanks to the presence of the researcher of MareTerra NGO, our chance of spotting dolphins is 80%.

During the navigation, a briefing will be provided to let you know more about the biology and behaviour of dolphins, along with their conservation status. We are certified with the High Quality Whale Watching certification. Once we sighted a group of dolphins, we respect their well-being approaching them in accordance with the “good code of conduct” of our certification to minimise the risk of any disturbance to dolphins.
Thanks to the photo-identification technique, we can recognise dolphins by their dorsal fins and we are able to tell you their names, how old they are and their health status. In addition, you will listen to the dolphin sounds thanks to the recordings that the scientists of MareTerra NGO collected to study the bioacoustic of the dolphins.

During the navigation, you will admire one of the most beautiful coasts of Sardinia, within the boundaries of the Marine Protected Area Capo Caccia - Isola Piana.

Fantastic ! - Very professional, well organized. After the first 90 minutes of the trip, during which we didn't see any dolphins, everyone was a bit nervous. But then!!!! Then they all came and jumped!!!! There was a young animal that did really funny, playful somersaults. Everyone was excited and applauded! A successful trip that will be remembered for a long time. Thank you!!!

What an experience! - Wonderful experience, Fabio and Francesco immediately proved to be extremely professional and helpful. Progetto Natura is not a simple excursion for tourists, it is the story of enthusiasts who want to raise people's awareness of respect for nature and the creatures that inhabit it, through anecdotes, explanations and images. Once the excursion was over we were lucky enough to come across a group of about ten dolphins. Even though the scheduled time had been exceeded, we slowly got closer to be able to admire these splendid animals in their natural habitat. Thank you

Gorgeous ! - A childhood dream finally come true! We were lucky enough to be able to observe quite a few dolphins. What an unforgettable experience. Special mention for the kindness of the crew and the very interesting information from Fabio concerning the dolphins. And what a pleasure to be able to hear the vocalizations of the dolphins around us through headphones. Brief! It was magical and very educational. I recommend with your eyes closed.

Dolphin spotting with a conscience - Amazing trip. The 3 tour guides were so friendly and informative and cleared showed a passion for dolphins and their conservation. We saw a pod of 11 beautiful dolphins of which one was a calf. An exemplary organisation with an ethical, conservational approach to the work they do and this translated well to the tourist.

Educational and fun! - Very interesting and educational to learn more about the bottlenose dolphins in the Alghero area. The team is very passionate about the research they do and this shows in the way they tell you all about it. This is definitely one of the best dolphin watching tours I’ve done. Would fully recommend it!

Great tour, informative en excellent guides. - We had a great tour with Fabio and his colleague. Very informative and interesting talk about the local eco system and obviously dolphins specifically. They are passionated about the dolphins and their environment. Besides all this we also just had a great time due to the positive attitude of Fabio and his colleague. Ofcourse it also helped we spotted a group of dolphins just before the end of the tour. They really ‘showed off’. All in all a very nice and recommendable excursion for us!

So Worth it! - We didn’t see dolphins till the last moments of the tour, and it was so worth the wait, obviously. The guides were extremely respectful of the wild life (IE. Not darting towards them, following too closely etc.) and you could tell they were passionate about them. 100% worth every penny! P.s. future travellers, make sure you bring warm clothing to layer up!

Dreams come true 🐬 - Dreams came true for me on this tour. Fabio gives a perfect explanation of what they do and about the dolphins, scientific but not boring. This is an animal friendly way to see dolphins. You feel the love for the animals the whole trip. Francesco takes pictures and they send them later if you leave your email. Definitely recommend! Big thanks to Fabio & Francesco.

Beautiful boatride with some sightings of dolphins - The crew were really experienced. Tour began with some general information on Progetto Natura and dolphins. After about an hour found two dolphins which we followed for some time. Because the dolphins were really shy, we could not really see them well so we left to find some more dolphinsa. However, after we had reached our goal and saw dolphins, it really seemed like the crew gave up on looking for more. In the end we got some more information on dolphins and saw the coastline from the boat.
