Great tour! - I loved seeing the towns and learning the history! It was a good mix of informative and time to ourselves to walk around. It was definitely a highlight of my trip to Colmar!

So much fun. - Amalie was the best, Has. Great time on the van tour, glad Amalie was driving because those wine maker roads are narrow and steep. Sure did learn a bunch about the growing of grapes and the wine region, and Storks, yeah, Storks are cool. Great way to see the little villages and back roads, would love to visit again sometime.

Tour of Alsace villages. - Our driver and guide for the tour was Myriam and she was excellent! She made the tour very interesting with her knowledge of the local area and the places we visited. Kaysersberg and Riguewiehr were the highlights and the villages of Turckheim and Hunawihr were also very nice places we visited during the tour. We had plenty of opportunities to take photographs, both in the villages and during several stops along the journey. My wife and I loved every minute and would thoroughly recommend this tour as a must-do when visiting Colmar.

Amazing Alsace - Miriam was such an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide! We really enjoyed this tour and exploring the vineyards and villages. Would recommend to a friend!

Excellent - We had great time with Thiery.. He was very friendly. He have us very good knowledge about wine vilages and history of Alsace. We visited arround four very beautifull villages of Colmar. And also we taste wine. My son and me enjoyed this tour too much. Thanks for everyrhing Thiery and lovely Viatour Team..

Do it! - Thiery was a fabulous tour guide and obviously loves his job. Incredibly knowledgeable. And each town was cuter than the next.

Tour of Alsatian Villages - This tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Amelie, provided great knowledge on the three villages we visited. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Did not deliver what was advertised. - I an sorry I have to write this review. However, we have given Ophorus an opportunity to make this right and have heard nothing back from them, so I wanted to warn other people to ensure you get what you paid for. We booked the 1/2 day tour of the Alsace villages. We were a group of 6, but the family of 4 were late by 10 minutes and so by the time we left we were behind 15 minutes. This really wasn't a big deal other than we did not end up getting the tour that we paid for. We got the walking tour of Kaysersberg, but we did not get any free time on our own which was expected in the write up of the tour. So we did not worry about taking too many pictures during the walking tour as we thought we would go back to get our picture we wanted during our free time. So we lost that opportunity totally. Then it was written we would have opportunities to have photo ops during the vineyard drive but there was only 1 stop to do that and it was rushed beside the van during a brief discussion about the vineyard. Then we were to go to Riquewihr, but instead we drove through Hunawihr as advertised and then taken to Riquewihr. Changing the order of the tour is not the issue, but we were to have a walking tour here as well as free time. What we got was an hour free time which was barely enough to see much of anything with no walking tour. So we came away with minimal pictures of Kayersberg, no walking tour of Riquewihr and no photo stops of the vineyard but one brief one. We can see online that there were group pictures at various stops we passed by, so we know that this was actually part of the tour that we did not get. The other part of the tour that was a bit of a shock but it didn't impact our group as we were only 6 instead of 8. But this tour is in a clean but small van. There is the drivers seat and passenger seat up front and then a middle seat up front. Then 3 in the middle and 3 in the back. It would be very uncomfortable to have to sit beside the driver as it would feel like you are encroaching on their space, plus if we had a third person in the middle row it would have been very uncomfortable. None of our group were large people, but if anyone in the group was above average weight it would be not be pleasant. The other issue that was not the tour guides problem, but we couldn't understand anything she said while giving history in the van. She has a strong accent, but when she is speaking to you directly outside of the van you can understand her clearly. So this has to be the quality of the sound system in the van. We are not sure what the 3 people in the very back of the van heard, but we could only catch a few parts of each topic she was talking about. In all fairness to her, she did say at the beginning to let her know if we couldn't understand her, but we knew it was not her and the sound system, so didn't say anything. So....while we enjoyed getting to see a couple of the villages, we did not get what we paid for and therefore it was disappointing not to get the history, pictures or what was advertised. If you are going to take the tour, make sure you ask at the beginning what exactly you will be doing and make sure it matches what is advertised.
