Highlights

Hurghada to Luxor, East Bank of Luxor, Felucca Ride, Camel Ride & Lunch During Sailing

Hurghada - We will pick you up from your hotel around 7 am for your air-conditioned bus ride to Luxor, which takes approximately 5 hours.

Temple of Karnak - Upon arriving in Luxor, your private guide will take you to visit the East Bank of Luxor. Karnak Temple is the most impressive site in Egypt, being the largest temple complex ever constructed by man. It represents the combined efforts of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs, spanning 247 acres. Lunch will be served on an island in the Nile River at an oriental restaurant where you can savor Egyptian cuisine. Your trip includes a Felucca ride on the Nile and a camel ride. Afterward, you will check into your hotel to relax and refresh before we pick you up in the evening to enjoy Luxor by night. The Temple of Luxor was the center of the most important festival, the festival of Opet, which aimed to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with the divine office. After the evening tour, you will return to your hotel for the night.

West Bank, Valley of the Kings, Lunch in a Local House, Back to Hurghada

Valley of the Kings - We will pick you up from your hotel to visit the West Bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. The Valley of the Kings is the final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to 20th dynasties and is home to tombs of great pharaohs like Ramses II and the boy pharaoh Tutankhamun. You will visit three tombs, excluding Tutankhamun’s, which requires an extra ticket. Next, you will visit Hatshepsut Temple, dedicated to the queen who would-be king. Hatshepsut was a beloved ruler, though her reign was surrounded by controversy. Her spectacular temple on Luxor’s West Bank is one of the best-preserved of its kind. You will then proceed to the Colossi of Memnon, the remains of a once-complete mortuary temple now destroyed except for these statues. After completing your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Hurghada with unique photos and unforgettable memories. Have a nice trip.
